My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The Sherwood Forest room is the room we had and it was amazing. We will be back next year to check out another room. Its so peaceful and quiet. The check in was fast and easy. Not the best hot breakfast but it's all good. Can't wait for next year

This stay isn't for everyone, but we had a great time. The Don Q is dated, but steeped in history. The help was pleasant, room clean and bed comfortable. History abounds and the hope for it to return, at least partly, to it's former glory will bring us back. There would be a great opportunity for the owners to take advantage of this selling memorabilia like t-shirts, postcards etc. If you're looking for 5 stars, this isn't for you, if you want to add to a quirky adventure to House on the Rock, this may be the ticket.

The owners were super nice and very accommodating. However the place is super old and falling apart. Scenery was nice and the themed room was fun but afraid of things falling apart. Also the breakfast was gross probably best to order or go out for breakfast.

We love staying here however they now have a mouse problem... we left a bag of chips out in our room and heard the mouse chewing and saw the slivers of bag it left behind.... been going here for 7 years... not sure we'll be back

The hotel has great history. Well worth the stay. There appears to be some renovation going on. Very clean, room was a single king bed with plenty of space. Staff was great.

The room was quaint. Gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were nice, although the room was in disrepair. The copper tub in the hotel room was DEEP. If you're overweight (I am) and short (me too), it was a pain to get in and out of. If you are coming for the in-room hot tub, be aware of the difficulty of the copper ones. It didn't ruin the vacation. I will just choose a different room next time with a normal jacuzzi.

Room was spacious, the man at the counter (the only staff I interacted with) was very helpful and kind, and the place was clean! Makes me wish we had a little more time to spend in the hotel, so I could've gotten one of the more fun rooms on offer.
