This was such a lovely experience. The traditional room was spacious and comfortable, the food was beautifully prepared and the onsen experience was amazing. I would stay here again and wish we had been able to stay another day.

Spacious and beautiful room with a great kitchen and an amiable staff. Far location up on the hill which however is not a problem, since a hotel shuttle can be called throughout the day to and from the bus station as well as to restaurants in arima. The in-room onsen and the freely bookable private onsens are great and relaxing. We had a great and relaxing time with the family!

This was the second time my husband and I stayed here but this time I brought my family and friends. 9 of us total. I communicated with Justin via email and he was so accommodating with my requests. It was even nicer that I got to meet him in person when we checked in. We love the private onsen in our room and that we can also reserve the public ones as well Atmosphere is so relaxing. So far we have gone to 4 or the 8 you can reserve so we will need to return again to try the others. I left my phone in the onsen and the gentleman ran back to get it for me. I'm sorry I didn't get his name but he is always smiling, tall and wears glasses. We opted for breakfast together and they gave us a private room with a beverage bar just for our group. Next time we will do kaiseki dinner there as everyone enjoyed the breakfast. Thank you for the great service from you staff!

Best hotel in arima onsen

The hotel was so nice and clean. We got a 45 minute private onsen which we could add more 45 minute any time. It was great. Also the stuff and especially tan!! Where really great. They had a car that took us from and to the train and even to a restaurant late night because we couldn't find an open restaurant near by. I really recommend!!

I like the private reservation system. There are plenty of options and availability with eight private onsen to choose from. Staff was courteous and helpful, as one of the person in our party of 4 was on a wheelchair.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They will help make reservations and drive you to and from anywhere in town. There was always someone who spoke english which was great. There's several onsens that are included and you just need book a time. My wife and I had an amazing time in the Western suite with an in room onsen. The town has delicious food and we walked around everywhere and enjoyed the views.

Extremely nice hot spring experience with friendly staff. Especially the hygiene condition of the room as well as the hot spring, it’s surprising that you can’t even find a string of hair in your room and all hot springs. What kind of magic is that lol Unfortunately dinner session was fully booked, will definitely try next time.

I would not come back. Food was awful. The property has several open air onsens, which can be reserved by guests for 45 Mins sessions. We got the reservations of our choice easily enough and the onsens were very good. I am writing an unbiased review and the preceding was the best part of the stay. Now the negative ; Toilet has a small sink but no accommodation for soap. What happened japanese cleanliness? They lock the front doors overnight. Due to jet lag, I decided to go outside for a walk but the doors were locked. I would not know what happens in a fire. I felt panicking, feeling like I am locked up in a jail. There's no one at the front desk. It was closed. For a property which charges $750/ night, we expect high quality of service. Staff were nice, except for discussions about food. At checking, I chose a breakfast selection. After dinner, I requested to change next day's breakfast selection and they refused, even with 12 hour notice. Dinner was awful. The worst food in recent memory. Even the street food in nichika market in Kyoto was much better. We enjoyed good food in Japan, until here. It's zero star! I was hungry all night because I didn't know where else to go. Seriously, food was just awful. The "kobe beef" was of cheap cuts. I couldn't eat it. Even basic soup was bad. Next morning breakfast was equally bad. Indoor onsen : I was excited that my room would have a flowing water indoor onsen. No window. Too humid to use. Useless

口コミ通り、滞在中ずっと快適に過ごせました。 お風呂や、食事処から部屋への移動時の混雑などがなかったことが本当に快適でした。 貸切風呂も、同時間で男女で分かれて利用することができ良かったです。 ロビーのドリンクコーナーや部屋のコーヒーマシンなども嬉しかったです。

初めて有馬温泉で宿泊しました。スタッフの方の対応はとても丁寧で素敵でした。 隣の部屋のおそらく中国からの旅行者で、家族連れで夜12時頃まで騒いでいて、窓を閉めてもうるさかったです。 細かい所は気にしませんが、窓側の大きい机が埃まみれだったのも値段の割には残念でした。 総合的には満足でした。

I will visit again. They are so kind, it rained when my mom and I visited. I had a lot of luggage, but more people helped me with my luggage first and checked out, and thank you so much for leaving a good impression on my mom and travel. I was moved by the visit with my boyfriend in October last year, so this trip was the second time, but I'm going to visit again this year!
