We booked this hotel because the listing stated that they have parking and are pet-friendly, which was essential for us. However, upon arrival in the evening, things went downhill quickly. I had to run into the hotel to ask about parking while my husband waited in the car, only to be told by the receptionist that they actually don’t have parking and that the nearest option is “three minutes away.” In reality, the parking lot was 1.5 kilometers from the hotel – not exactly a short walk, especially with a dog and lots of luggage.
When I pointed out that this should have been clearly stated in the booking description, the receptionist responded with irritation and sarcasm, telling me that since the hotel is in the city center, I shouldn’t expect hotels to have their own parking. Her attitude was unprofessional, confrontational, and dismissive.
We were given two room keys – one worked, but for the other, I had to go back to reception three times before she finally came upstairs and confirmed that the key didn’t work. Even then, she continued to imply it was my fault, despite the clear technical issue.
The location is the only positive thing I can mention. The rest was unacceptable: the room looked run-down, the bathroom floor was rotting, and cleanliness was subpar. Although housekeeping came, the bed sheet that was supposed to be on my side was touching the dirty floor, which was incredibly off-putting.
This hotel was a major disappointment.
