The beds were nice. Free coffee and tea all day. The people were nice. It's a good quiet place. We didn't use the breakfast or the pool. Both are not in the complex, but in another building. For the swimming you need to pay extra. The rooms smelled a little musty. The shower had no hot water for a longer time, the second person was often cold.

If you're looking for a cut, affordable, centrally located place to sleep and unwind from the day? this is the perfect spot. The hotel is pretty basic, yet is very comfortable. Nice courtyard, some outdoor table to bring our lunch, friendly staff, safe, perfectly located to bars, restaurants, yet distance enough to keep the noise down. Temperatures at night are cool an there's a fan so no need for AC There is construction happening next door and it is loud. it didn't bother me as much as I was mostly out and about in the city, but if you are late and lite sleeper, this will be a problem. Totally recommend it an will stay here again

The property has nice gardens and it is one of the only hotels that offer coffee at 6am and not much later like others. when we saw the pictures online it shows people eating at the tables by the coffee station so we assumed they had a restaurant but it doesn’t…a bit misleading. The beds are not the most comfortable ones and the rooms have no A/C so it an get hot. They do offer a small fan but it still felt hot. On the other hand the staff is AMAZING!!!!!!! Everyone helped us with a smiley face and made us feel comfortable.

Claudia was always respectful of my needs. If I asked her not to clean the room (because I had everything I needed) she agreed. When I asked her to clean the room, she was right there. Her work is exceptional. Kathy and Alex at the desk were top-notch. I needed to adjust the dates of my stay. When I asked for restaurant recommendations, directions, hiring a taxi, anything I needed they were helpful. Kathy even helped me with my Spanish. The hotel is beautiful. My room was right in front of the fountain so I had a gorgeous view. Everything was perfect and I will recommend Meson del Valle to anyone who will listen.
