My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed the Argentina Hotel. The cinque Terre can be daunting with all the levels, and steps, and inclines. The Hotel is located close to an elevator which is, in turn, close to another elevator. So with minimal effort you can go to the train station which was a huge unheralded benefit of the stay. The breakfast staff was cheerful and accomodating. The room's balcony was a welcome spot to rest the feet after a day of train hopping and walking. Bravo hotel Argentina !

Everything about the apartment is excellent and perfect. However, it is in a SUPER busy area! Maybe that's what you're looking for! Coffee across the street, groceries the next block, the bridge to all the sites just minutes away. And again, the apartment is excellent and perfect.

Nothing fancy but fine for a few days. Its on top of the hill in Riomaggiore so be ready for a little bit of hiking up and down everyday. Rooms are small and fairly old, but super clean.

Friendly staff! Luca at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Nice breakfast each morning! Room was clean. Nice view from terrace. If both elevators from train station up to room are not working (2 levels up side of mountain) take a taxi with your luggage—too many steps up with luggage. Grazie for a great stay:)

Wonderful reasonably priced hotel in the Cinque Terre region. Great directions provided to get to the hotel from the train station, but keep in mind that the 400 m distance also include a 100 m gain in elevation. If they are operating there are two elevators that can be used to lessen the climb. However, one was being reconstructed during our stay and the other one was out of service at times, so don't count on them. Our room was in the annex building, which is a bit way from the main hotel, and it came with a private outside seating area, which was terrific after a day of exploration. The breakfast served is terrific and not to be missed.

This hotel is at the very top of Riomaggiore. The location is beautiful and quiet. BUT, it is not easy to get to the location if you have luggage and come from the train. Either walk up many, many stairs or walk on the main road. Only one set of elevators works and requires a tourist payment to ride. If staying in the apartment annex, be advised that there is NO air conditioning. The apartment is insufferably hot even with all doors and windows open and two fans. There is a family living above the apartment and they stomp around late into the night. They also smoke cigarettes which drifts into the bedrooms. While Riomaggiore seems friendly and quaint, sleeping with all the doors and windows open felt uncomfortable. There is no safe to store valuables. The breakfast was

The staff was very nice/helpful. Plus the is hotel convenient to the train station. (We had to pay small fee for the two elevators to get to the facility but the hotel provides a pass for guests upon check-in.) Property is well maintained and clean but the mattress was a little uncomfortable. Their complimentary breakfast had a generous selection of food and drinks. We enjoyed sitting at the communal hotel veranda enjoying the amazing view of the water and talking to other guests. If I could rate this hotel a 4.8 I would. I would definitely stay there again!

Spectacular view and perfect size for our family. Patio area especially was ideal for us to enjoy our breakfast overlooking the town/ocean. Kitchen is a bit basic but was enough to get us by. Hotel staff friendly. Like other reviews access requires a lot of steps. Not a lot of food choices in local grocery so be prepared.

Hotel Argentina was fantastic and the most amazing views. I loved that they offered a very nice complimentary breakfast and the staff were wonderful. They are at the top of the hill and yes there are stairs but there is also an elevator in the village you can use to get to the top level which was helpful. We had a balcony which was great for watching the sunset or you could go down a level to their outside patio. We enjoyed wine and snacks there another night while watching the sunset. Lovely hotel and I would highly recommend it if you are staying in Riomaggiore.

Beautiful property! The elevator is almost a necessity because it is a HIKE to get up there, especially with a backpack. The room was clean and larger than I was expecting, and the balcony had a beautiful view. I'd read in a review that the room had no coffee maker or electric kettle, so I brought instant coffee and asked the front desk about a kettle at check-in, and they put an electric kettle in the room for me.

The property was very nice however it was far up from the town, and if you are not a hiker, transportation can be a challenge, especially with luggage. A 5 minute ride up to the hotel is €15 after a one hour wait for the taxi. Same checking out. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet had some nice things available, but it was not self service so it added an element of control that we found surprising. But overall it is a very quiet place away from everything.
