We enjoyed staying at Grand hotel during our visit to Åsgårdstrand its located in the center of this small village and the room was quite good.

The location of this hotel is great! Few food options open, but it was during the off season so it was expected. The hotel's food was still great though! I can imagine this hotel during the peak season is very busy - if we ever go back to visit we will make sure to stay here!

For oss ble dette en litt dårlig opplevelse. Beliggenhet meget bra, frokost meget bra, men rommet var i dårlig stand. Meget varmt på rommet uten mulighet til nedkjøling. Nattlamper som var delvis demontert med løse ledninger. Dårlig avløp i dusj, dårlig rengjøring på bad. Har nok sikkert vært et staselig hotell en gang i tiden, men trenger nok en oppgradering.

Helt ok hotell. Gammelt og slitt. Ingen AC og ingen mørkleggingsgardiner, hvilket gjorde det vanskelig å sove for alle i familien. Sterk urinstank på badet. Tett luft i rommet. Persienner var forsøkt festet med plaster. Savnet litt mer smil og hyggelig velkomst hos resepsjonisten som sjekket oss inn. Hyggelig personal for øvrig. Fin beliggenhet med sjøen og kort gåavstand til Munchs hus. Kjekt med shuffleboard og biljard i fellesområdet. Helt standard frokost. Dessverre ikke så mye unikt med dette hotellet for vår del. Vi hadde bare en natt her som et stop på veien hjem fra Sverige. Ville nok valgt et annet hotell i Horten/Tønsberg/Larvik ved en senere anledning.

Hyggelig opphold i fantastisk sommervær.

Vennlig stab og service i alle ledd under oppholdet. Et bra hotell i en hyggelig liten sommerby. Mange muligheter for bading og sightseeingtur i nærområdet til hotellet.

Trevligt hotell vid havet

Hotell med bra placering vid havet. Lite slitet men ändå väldigt charmigt. Personalen bladade och gav, från ointresserad till supertrevlig. Jättebra frukost med rökt lax och ”skagenröra”, trevliga rum. Det som drog ner betyget för oss var värmen på rummen, galet varmt.
