Helpful bartender

The bartender/ server in the restaurant was very helpful, given that we were close to the time lunch was no longer being served. He also brought us a light snack in the evening when we went to the bar for a drink.

Good value hotel near Genoa Airpoto.

Good value near the Genoa Airport. Convenient for that 6am departure! I arrived early (10am) as I had just disembarked from a cruise. I didn't expect to be given early checkin but as I told the front desk I wasn't feeling well and would be in the lobby awaiting the room. They didn't give me a room until 3p (which was the proper time). Not complaining but the hotel was clearly not fully booked and since I was not feeling well it would have been nice to get into the room sooner other than waiting 5 hours. Nonetheless, restraunt opened at 12noon and I enjoyed a lovely lunch.

I booked a night here because I had a very early flight the following morning. The hotel is extremely close to the airport--less than a 5 minute walk--so the convenience couldn't be beat. However, it's an average hotel in other respects. The room furniture looked cheap and dated. There was damage to my room's door. There was a Nespresso machine in the room, but no breakfast was included. The staff member who checked me in was in training and didn't really give me any information other than my room key. I wasn't looking for anything other than a hotel convenient to the airport, but you won't get anything fancy here.

Decent but dated; really flat pillows

It was very conveniently close to the airport, so we got to bed quickly after a late delayed flight. However, the hotel is a bit dated (a bit like stepping back into the 70s) and they really need to upgrade their pillows at least. Only two very flat pillows were provided for a king bed, and I had an awful sleep because it was like sleeping without a pillow. Ok for one desperate night after a long day of travels, but glad we moved on to our next hotel now!

15 min walk from train terminal. 3 min walk to airport. Beautiful view but windows very dirty. Pillows worse than mine at home which is hard to believe. Bed comfortable. Bathroom ok. Door would not lock properly and security chain broken. Restaurant meh. Waiter very unfriendly :(
