Hotel is on a very safe, quiet street; close to good cafe, restaurants, RER and metro stations. 10 min walk to Notre Dame de Paris and a 25 mins walk to the Louvre. The staff at the hotel were exceptional. They were all very pleasant, polite and helpful. Our room was small with no storage for clothing, very few hangers and one coat hook. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning system worked well. Bathroom was also small but clean and housekeeping passed everyday to replenish our towels and change bedsheets if requested. We had a very nice stay.

Perfect landing spot. Small very well designed rooms. Excellent service. Cheerful, comfortable. I've stayed in some very depressing and dingy Paris hotels in this price bracket and this place is a real find. Couldn't be better located. 5 minute walk from RER so very easy to get there from CDG. Only one thing: bathroom lighting makes makeup application very challenging. Maybe now that men are wearing makeup hotels will figure this out.

French Theory is more than a hotel, really - and more of a concept, and an excellent one at that! The hotel is relatively small, but cosy, trendy, atmospheric, and incredibly inspirational for any creative soul. The café is small, but serves exquisite barista coffe and has a great kitchen as well. The small shop behind the reception has an inspirational selection of books, mags, and other nice, artsy stuff. The employees are the best; friendly, approachable, and ready to help finding new and interesting gems in the area or in Paris as such. And - there’s a music listening room in the cosy basement … next to the fully equipped recording studio! Highly recommended - also to the future me!

Loved French Theory- great location , cool vibe and very professional, friendly staff. It’s the quirkiest, coolest hotel I’ve stayed in, in Paris. Vinyl and a record player in the room, a projector and screen and curated books. Loved staying here and will return later this year - fully recommend . Very clean and just super cool .

The location is great and the staff were lovely. The common area is hip and trendy along with some of the decor in the room. However we were very disappointed in the condition of the room. Ripped bed sheets, dirty floors, and the bathroom with no ventilation had the whole hotel room smelling strongly of mildew.
