Clean but needs some work.

Room was clean but seriously in need of upgrades (which they are working on). Bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay and we got what we paid for and were happy with it.

Stayed here with my friends and honestly, we had a really good experience. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and check-in was super easy. The staff were kind and made us feel welcome. We’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

If you’re traveling on a budget and just need a simple, affordable place to sleep, midtown inn is a decent option. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, safe, and well-located. I’d recommend it for budget-conscious travelers or those making a quick stop.

We picked this motel randomly while driving and it turned out to be a good decision. The rooms were fresh, clean, and had a relaxing feel. Me and my friends were able to sleep well without disturbances. We loved how fast check-in was and how friendly the front desk staff was. The room had everything we needed for a short, pleasant stay. Overall, a smooth and satisfying experience.

Uncomfortable stay

This property was falsely advertised regarding updating renovations. This property had no phone in the room. Breakfast was served from 7-9? Didn’t have the continental breakfast cause of the false communication from the reception desk who said breakfast hours were from 7-10. This Inn was the worst place that I have stayed in. Big disappointment.

Terrible service

Bedside lamps did not work, internet was so poor, there was no way to access it at any point during the stay. There was no cable tv and because of poor internet connection we could not use it. Besides fresh pancake, breakfast was terrible. It looked like leftovers from the day before Italian wedding soup and sandwiches that has strange things in it. We will not stay in this hotel again.

You can tell the hotel is making an effort to renovate and improve. The room was comfortable and clean, which I appreciated. A couple of things could be better—mainly the towels, which were expandable ones rather than standard towels, and the front door, which let in quite a bit of light from underneath. That said, for the price and overall experience, it was worth it. If I need a budget-friendly place for a night or two, I’d stay again. The biggest surprise was definitely the expandable towel!

So they put me in a room where I had to walk a mile to get to and from. There where beetles in the room and bugs cra lung on the ceiling. There was a mess that was cleaned up with a towel. Charges me 25$ cause some vomit they said wouldn't come out of a towel. I'm still trying to get my refund for the damage deposit back. It's been now one week with 4 calls to the office and they keep giving me the run around. Horrible place, horrible conditions, wouldn't sleep in my car if needed other then stay there again !!?

I would not recommend this property to anyone. It’s dirty and smelly. It’s loud if you’re at the ground floor. You will hear all the noises from the top one like the shower and all the footsteps. I think, there’s a bedbugs. I was scratching all over my legs.

Don’t even stop at this place, what a dive

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at,and I travel a lot.My suit was under construction. No towel,no hair dryer,no ice, dirty room,The door had big axe makes in it. The door was split down the middle.I should have got my money back, but no refund. I’m not happy with Hotels .com to have this hotel even on their list . And then after that they put up a sign $59.00 a night Not like pictures showed . False advertising The round thing in picture is towel. It a large j cloth that thinks

Horribly terrible

I am not sure where they got the pictures for the website, but it’s definitely not theirs. There was people loitering outside drugs were being distributed on the outside metal fence. I got to the room it smelt the air conditioning was a model that was hanging out the window, but it was barly hanging on, mold in the bathroom, mold on the tiles I the bathroom, holes that were patched that you could see and they had disposable towels. unbelievable, where you just use them and then throw them out. I have no idea how you would even unravel them because it looked like a hockey puck. Did I mention the smell? It was awful the pictures that they have up in the midtown premium is not what I saw just terrible. I could not stay there, but they still charged me unbelievable and this is premium unbelievable

Fighting for a refund

It was absolutely terrible. There were people doing drugs in the parking lot. Sketchy people everywhere. Definitely was used as a “pay by the hour” type of people. Black mold in the room. Bed bugs. An overall awful stay. If I could give it no stars I would. They needed up renaming the place but it definitely hasn’t changed at all. I am currently fighting for a refund due to how awful it was. My husband and I didn’t even stay 20 minutes. The owners had no care that it was disgustingly dirty there. We have stayed in gross places but this was something else. After talking to others it is clear that the good reviews were faked

Okay Overall!

It was actually not a bad stay. Room was clean (though the floor could have done with a more thorough once-over), bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were clean, TV and air conditioner both worked. Bath fixtures & tile were moderately new looking but white paint was slopped everywhere (sink & taps, electrical plates & switches). While traffic is heavy during the day, there was less at night so not too noisy. Getting to the Inn was not easy because I didn't see the hotel sign (was it even there?). If you get to the point in the attached picture, you've missed the gate. I only knew I had missed the gate because I saw the sign for Venture Inn. So I had to make a U-turn (in heavy traffic) to get back to the entrance. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was ... more like lunch: egg salad sandwiches, chicken noodle soup, french fries. Oh yeah there were fresh pancakes and the coffee was okay. My main reason for giving it 3 not 4 stars is that while everything was comfy it was old and overdue for renovation. I'd stay there again though I wonder if other rooms were less clean & comfy (going by other reviews).
