Nice budget cabins near Glacier

I was reluctant to stay here due to several reviews calling it a “scam”. I am happy I ended up booking a cabin here. Very rustic, not fancy but all the amenities were there, kitchen, bathroom, coffee maker, fridge, even a picnic table and fire pit. No problems communicating with the staff, eateries within walking distance. Good budget option to stay near Glacier NP. WiFi was very spotty.

From when we arrived to when we left, we had a wonderful experience. The cabin was compact but spotless, with everything we needed We were picked up from the train station, they got us firewood so we could have a fire, more coffee whenever we asked. Georganne was an excellent host, and I'd stay there again.

Needs some TLC, but works in a pinch

Couple items to note: aside from the East Glacier Lodge, there aren't an abundance of options. This is an old motel with potential. It's an old motel, and it's ok for a night to last your head. Anything more, is either choose the lodge or up in St Mary (if you're going to Glacier). There are places to eat and Two Medicine Lake is really close, convenience is a plus. The lake is close and it's way less busy than the Going to the Sun Road stops, and the hiking is beautiful.

The host was extremely thoughtful and helpful throughout my stay. They had a keen knowledge of the entire area surrounding Glacier Park, and gave great advice for hikes to take and sights to see, based on how long I was staying.

This was the best last minute decision we made. Reserved a room for one night so we could take more time on the East side of Glacier. Our hosts were able to provide hiking and activity and food option information. They were extremely friendly and accommodating and really made our stay great.

Scam

I think this property is a scam. I booked two nights with them. When I got there at 9pm nobody was at the front. I had to call a phone number. Nobody picked up. People out front said my room was given away bc I "never showed up." I had my whole family with me and had to scramble to find a hotel nearby. They still refuse to pickup the phone from me and from hotel.com so I never got a refund.

before you book...look at many reviews. we were glad to have a place better than a tent in a storm, but are NOT happy about over all experience. we paid for 2 rooms and tried to reach owner for weeks before arrival, only to only receive a call from owner cancelling one of them on day at least a dozen attempts by hotels.com to reach owner.

Memories of East Glacier

Our family party of five traveled to East Glacier in midMay. The owner of Two Medicine Inn was extremely generous and hospitable. We had three spacious motel rooms that were clean and had all the amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable. The owner has lots of local knowledge and family history in the East Glacier motel business. We enjoyed our time here and highly recommend!

I had a confirmation from you and they didn’t have rooms blamed it on you we had no where to stay with kids it was a nightmare no way to contact you I just get a I asst I got charged and bought travel insurance with no way to contact hotels.com
