Don’t stay here.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was nasty!! Smelled bad, MOLDED pillows, broken toilet seat, water damaged ceiling and nasty carpet. Yeah it’s a super 8 but we’ve stayed in plenty that were fairly nice. I have never given a bad review but this place has to clean up!!

The place is so close to the middle of town. It’s super convenient to most things by walking. The breakfast didn’t wow me. Coffee wasn’t good. The staff were friendly but we only really ran into them when we checked in or out. The rooms were not cleaned at all. The floors were super messy. You didn’t want to take your shoes off. The toilet paper holder was falling out the wall. Just looked super dirty on the floor. Dusts. Cockroach pieces. German roach was seen in my room. The tables and cabinet in the room looked disgusting. Just didn’t feel comfortable. Would have been a different experience if more cleaning would have taken place.

We stayed here for one night, last minute. It was a good stay for the price. The room was clean and the hotel is walking distance to Cool River Tubing. The walls are very thin so you will hear your neighbors if you are a light sleeper. Easily fixed by ear plugs or bringing a loud fan.

The staff was excellent. Night and day shift. An important plus to note is the service began with my calling the front desk hours before I arrived(with questions of accomedations) and even after I returned home(we accidentally left some purchases in the room). The second day of stay the breakfast ran out of pancakes. The housekeeping never been performed during my stay. The TV remote control didn't work the last day and the TV apps did not work properly.

When we arrived there was construction that went on until midnight. The people next to us partied into all hours of the morning and there was a busted pipe or something behind our wall and it dripped loudly the whole stay. When I let the front desk know they said they were off those days and there was nothing they could do.

Staff was friendly but not super welcoming. Staff was sitting around lobby like they had nothing to do. Tv remote didnt work had to get another and then still didnt work but we were only there a night and not there for the tv so not a huge deal. Room felt cold, very noisy and we could see daylight theough the door. Area around the hotel felt creepy. If you need a quick hotel in a pinch, this is your place like we did; spend the extra few bucks and go across the street. It killed the helen vibe real quick. But you get what you pay for I guess.

Check in was easy, room was okay not extremely dirty but linens were not clean and towels were stained, wouldn’t walk across floors barefoot, staff was super nice and helpful, internet and tv was very intermittent. Jacuzzi was clean with plenty of hot water to enjoy. Rooms are a bit noisy. The fenced in dog area need maintenance and cleaned grass was high and people not picking up after their pups. The outdoor seating over looking town was nice.
