Excellent hotel in an up and coming neighborhood. The staff were very friendly and professional. Room was clean with really comfortable bed and linens. Nice view from the balcony. The best hotel and best sleep I had during my two week trip in Brasil. I saw other guests complaining about the repair work being done outside the hotel but feel they were being unfair as the improvements look like they will be very nice once completed.

The hotel is well-located and very clean. However, the single beds are awful. Way too small and the mattress is not comfortable at all.

The property itself was great, we did run into a problem when the power was gone on our first night we had book another hotel the second night. The staff didn’t reassure or accommodate us when we asked but it seem like a city wide problem so overall I can’t say I had much of an experience.

Average rooms and amenities. Their dining options are very limited. Breakfast is EXACTLY the same everyday. the staff in the dining are are very nice and helpful. Lobby area is very small and has a lot of foot traffic, not a place to sit and enjoy.. . This place is very noisy even in the guest rooms - not the hotel's fault as their are two major construction projects going on in the adjacent areas. It can be noisy at all odd hours including weekends. I had a little issue with booking dates and initial discussions were painful and downright nasty from the staff. Eventually my extension was ranted but at a horrendous cost - thy RIPPED me off with nearly 3x normal room rate for one night. The location is convenient for my work and I have many trips to SP coming up, but am not sure I will stay here again.

Nice hotel, but attention to detail needed.

Hotel is very nice, but heat did not work in room, only AC. Actually, the in room AC unit was not fully functional. Bathroom sink never provided hot water. Shower did. Shower was fantastic. Room great. Lastly, lots of construction around property. I would wake up at 3am of metal item being delivered.

I spent a week there while on a business trip. I enjoyed the gym and the room was nice and big and the bed was very comfortable. The service was excellent both at the reception and the restaurant. The restaurant for lunch and dinner was just okay - nothing special and I preferred to eat out elsewhere but that was not always possible - the sushi restaurant across the street was fantastic. The breakfast buffet is vast and generous. Unfortunately I try to avoid sugar and carbs so my options were limited to mostly eggs at breakfast. I would have liked to see more vegetables for breakfast like avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.. I was very glad to see that they had plain unsweetened yoghurt though! I would definitely stay there again.

Aside from the beginning and end of our experience, It was a pleasant stay and well located. Check-in (George) wasn’t welcoming at all. He did his job in accommodating us yet made us feel that we had to be pleasant to him apposed to us having a welcoming experience. Valet service was good, yet their “system” was quite disappointing. We valeted our car for the night, yet when we checked out, they charged us for an extra day because our car was there past 11am. This didn’t make any sense being that check-out is at 12pm ( which we did ) The valet company may not be part of the hotels management yet someone should definitely consider changing this. There is zero logic here and should be valid until the time of check-out. One more thing - The cost for the breakfast buffet was fare yet why the coffee isn’t included was really odd. Thank you to the rest of the staff ! Global traveller
