8/10 Very good

Place has been remodeled very well since my last visit. Only suggestion I can make is to add a lounge chair, only place to sit was the bed or a bar stool in room.

At 4 am the smoke alarm started beeping for the battery to be changed I wasn’t happy

4/10 Fair

Terrible service, not updated.

The hotel was run down, the pool was chained closed the entire stay. Which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. I was overcharged. Paid extra $40 for our two children. Awful place. Wouldn’t recommend.

2/10 Poor

The staff was very rude, and didn’t comply with my needs. I felt against racism. Never will I go here.
Jenny, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Wasn’t aware there would an extra charge for kids until we arrived. Water took a while to get hot. There was no liner in the shower so water was getting everywhere. Beds were super small. Hotel was quick to charge for kids but definitely didn’t have room for them.

6/10 Good

The Hotel Isabel has clearly made some updates, but there’s still a long way to go—especially when it comes to customer service. The room was clean enough overall, but details were lacking. The throw pillows were stained with what looked like dried food or some unknown substance, which was off-putting. Towels were thin, stained, and very worn out. The shower sprayed water everywhere due to an improper installation, and the bathroom floors were filthy. To make matters worse, the phone in our room had no cord, so we couldn’t contact the front desk directly. When my husband called from our cell, he kept getting hung up on. When he finally brought the phone to the front desk, the staff member casually suggested he move the dresser and plug in the cord himself—not exactly the service you expect at a hotel. There was also a lamp in the room with no bulb, and while staff often said they’d take care of things, follow-through was lacking. Service was slow, inconsistent, and dismissive. With some attention to cleanliness, basic maintenance, and customer care, this hotel could be a solid choice. But as it stands, it was a disappointing experience.
