Overpriced Hotel close to Skaftafell glacier

Most expensive Hotel stay on our Iceland trip yet the room was like a cheap US motel, very basic, small and furnished cheaply. Breakfast buffet was disappointing. Hotel is in gretaa area though with a hike to the glacier at the back of the property.

Great location for glacier hikes and tours. The bed wasnโ€™t very comfortable and they by far had the worst breakfast of all the places we stayed. The staff was incredible though. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the hikes and the area.
