Very convenient and affordable for Manhattan. Perfect location.

8/10 Very good

Great location and great value for money. The rooms are tiny but have everything you need. Only downside is that the doors are very loud.

Great price for a solo weekend traveler

Very overpriced for a hostel but good location for me.

Great for Solo Travel

I stayed one night. Did a birthday dinner in NY and flew out the next morning. The hotel was trendy and clean. I really enjoyed the sound machine as I was close to the restroom. Robe and eye mask were a great touch!
Raven, 1-night trip

Perfect for a solo traveler. Plenty of hidden space in the pod to store things.

Greatest meditation I’ve ever experienced for a hotel stay…the shower water was fantastic 😝

Cool little coffin

Nice tiny room for young people either traveling solo or getting settled into NYC. Its a great deal for around $100 but anything more than that and it sort of feels like being ripped off. Also, to the gentleman blasting music in the shower at 4:30 AM, we can hear you.

Comfortable Cabin in the Bowery

The room was as advertised. Cabin sized and quaint with bathrooms and a shower just off the room. If you're dipping in and out of New York and want an affordable option with a great location Now Now is it.

4/10 Fair

I feel like if they are going to label the floor women only, they should make guests aware that male workers may still frequent the floor. Got out of the shower and the first thing I saw coming out was a male worker which threw me off given it was a female only floor. Also, how can the hotel prohibit guests from making phone calls in their rooms when employees are making phone calls on the floors. It was clean and comfortable enough.

Way too small. Had a hard time opening the door once I was in the room with my carry on suitcase. No bathroom, no shower in the room, and no ceiling. Hence I could hear noises from all around me

6/10 Good

Great concept, way too noisy

I love the concept of this hotel: small bunks for solo travelers with shared bathrooms/facilities to reduce waste, and all female floors for safety. However, the walls of the bunks do not go up to the ceiling so you can hear every noise coming from your neighbor's room and every time someone on your hall opens their door. My sleep was very disturbed by all the noise.

2/10 Poor

Feces in shower.

Room isnt fully enclosed, the slats you can hear other rooms as if they are sleeping in the same room. Weird. Showers had feces both times i showered, on different showers. Cleaning needs to be there 100% after people use it...Gross.

The place is so nice. Everyone was polite. That have everything you need and even more.

It was very cozy, but I got used to it. A lot more private than a hostel. World travelers would really like it. American tourists might find it to confining.

Excellent way to stay in east village of NYC as a single female traveler. Neighborhood is hip and safe and convenient. Accommodations are clean and quiet but really only for sleeping. No space to eat or hang out.

You pay for exactly what you get, maybe even more. It’s cozy and comfortable, clean and safe. Staff is always smiling and happy to help!

Such a cool little hotel. Stayed at a much more expensive location for three nights before and I wish I found this place earlier. Cute little sleeper cabin rooms, only built for ONE but filled with super nice amenities, especially the bathrobe and the towels. Will for sure be back. Great value!
Krysta, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The place is perfect for a couple of days. The downside is that the bathroom is unisex (shared by both men and women). It would be better if they were separated.

All staffs were nice and kind. Sheared bathroom was bit of dirty. Women’s floor don’t have blow dryer!! If you need bring yours. Overall it was nice stay.

If you're looking for a cosy, unique experience, particularly as a solo traveller, this is a great choice. The rooms are small, but well designed for comfort and storage, so I didn't feel cramped or claustrophobic. Because of the design of the pods, noise does potentially carry, but the other guests were respectful of the house rules (wear your headphones!), and there are complimentary earplugs and an eye mask just in case. The shared bathrooms were kept clean, and felt sufficient for the number of guests, and the neighborhood offers easy access to the metro and numerous great dining and shopping options. I would happily stay here again on another solo trip.
