A no-nonsense pub style accommodation. Great position on the edge of the Launceston CBD. Nice clean room that had been updated.
Is located on a busy road so plenty of traffic noise from about 6am

The service was first rate. The room was fine. However the bed was old and sagged. Sleeping was difficult.

Room was a close to a prison cell as a room could get. Tiny and the sink in the small living room

The traffic at the Bathurst Street is a bit of a problem.
Best was the really friendly staff. The meals at Steve's Grill were good as well.
Thank's for a nice time in Launceston.

We found the room very noisy and bright.
It was clean. The beds had some sorttt of heated sheet. It was not very comfortable and not needed. We had to eave the window open and the fan on as it was very warm.

Room had the basic facilities, advertised air conditioning but was air cooler, bathroom had mould in it and asked them to clean it but they never did. Pretty average at best

Although our room had everything we needed it was very cramped and had alot of road noise. Also for us the bed was too hard so we didn’t get a good nights sleep

The room was what I expected for a 3 star property. Check in was easy and efficient. The room had a smell from the drains when we came in, likely because it’s an old building. The linen and bathroom facilities were clean and it had good basic amenities. The couch looked old and a bit dirty and as it was a hot day and only a window with no fly wire and a portable evaporative cooler, our sleep was hot and noisy. Overall it was cost effective and ok for one night.

The pipes make an ear piercing squeal and there is constant traffic noise. Including the crossing buzzer, alllllll nughy long.
Shower over bath, dated and average at best. A couch I didn't dare sit on and very basic tv. However the beds were comfortable enough with clean sheets and pillows. Shame about all the noise when all you really want (need) is sleep. Im not a light sleeper either. We paid less for our room last night and got so so much better. Should have read the reviews and paid more. Won't be back. Don't recommend.

I was very disappointed with my stay. I had booked and paid for a superior double room with a queen bed, but I got a standard double room with a double bed in the corner. After I had realised that it wasn’t the room I had requested and paid for, went down to let the staff lady know. She was nowhere to be seen and there was no other staff for the rest of the afternoon and when I checked out the next morning . It was probably the worst room in the building, as the room faced the main road and was noisy with traffic the whole night. Furthermore, the room was stuffy as I couldn’t open the window due to the noise and lack of a screen. Needless to say it was sleepless night..A pity as the location was good and the room was clean.
