Our tour de France trip....

The young man at the front desk was amazing. He was friendly and very helpful. This hotel was an easy to get to and conveniently located in La Mans..October 16. 2025 The only concern we had was the front door didnt lock after dark... other than that, we give it a 9/10

Personnel accueillant, ménage ok mais la chambre familiale porte mal son nom. On s'y sent à l'étroit à 4 ... Et la salle de douche, ou plutôt la cabine ne peut être conseillée aux personnes de plus d'1m80 ou aux claustrophobes.

La chambre qui m'a été attribuée (203) n'était pas faite: les draps sales, les serviettes humides bouchonnées au sol, la corbeille pas vidée. La fenêtre n'était pas fonctionnelle et se fermait mal. Le lendemain, j'ai fait part de mes observations à l'accueil où l'on m'a dit que l'information serait remontée et que je serai remboursé mais à ce jour, rien n'est fait. J'ai pourtant transmis mon RIB comme la personne de l'accueil m'a proposé de le faire. J'attends toujours ce remboursement.

Bonjour, Je n’ai pas pu bénéficier de la chambre triple 21 portant la réservation 70283 dans l’hôtel IBIS Budget Le Mans Université en raison des énormes embouteillages du GP EXPLORER du dimanche 5 octobre 2025. Il n’y a pas de standard téléphonique après 21h00. Nous n’avons pas pu avoir l’explication de comment nous pouvions entrer dans l’hôtel après 21h00. Unexpextedly bad. Front door of hotel was not locked/ it was propped open. No A/C with tiny windows for entire room. Linens are clean. Paint and surfaces are worn out and chipped. Bathroom and toilet not deep cleaned. Matresses show stains under the sheets.

The biggest issue was safety and security as the door didn’t lock. We had to move our luggage to our son’s room when we went out for dinner. The manager came when we came back but I’m absolutely sure this was known issue. We would like a refund for one of the rooms. When we left this morning nobody was on reception to complain to. Udmærket budget hotel, men med larm om natten

Der var problemer med at finde min reservation i hotellets system, men efter adskillige minutters indsats af det meget venlige personale, lykkedes det at finde min reservation. Min eneste indvending imod hotellet er, at der 2 aftener var meget larm på hotellet til langt efter midnat.

La nuit où PSG gagne, notre chambre au dernier étage faisait 27 degrés, pas de clim ni ventilation, on était obligés de laisser la fenêtre ouverte, donc réveillé à plusieurs reprises par les bruits dans la rue des supporters PSG. Le pire expérience avec ibis.

The gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful. We accept the there is a hint in the name Budget but there were some things that you wouldn’t expect. There were a number of problems with the room. Toilet seat was loose No plug in the wash basin made it difficult to wash and shave. The washbasin was stained and damaged. The outlet grille in the shower was loose and the shower seemed dirty. We didn’t have a shower as we considered it unsafe to stand in it. The bathroom door was hard to close without it banging. There seemed to not be enough filling in the pillows. When we got down for breakfast at about 8:30there wasn’t much left for us to have.

Très déçue par la qualité du petit déjeuner. Il n'y avait que 2 thé au choix : vert à la menthe ou fruits rouges. Ai demandé un thé noir pas possible . L'eau de la machine pas assez chaude pour infuser , pas de fruits frais. La ventilation dans la chambre qui fait trop de bruit . Une chambre froide en arrivant .

Arrivés de nuit, je ne jugerai pas l'accueil qui s'est fait sur une borne, mais après 5h de route, nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre très froide car la fenetre était restée ouverte. Nous avons voulu prendre une douche, nous avons vite abandonné (déjà il y avait une énorme araignée au dessus de la porte) mais le pire c'est l'état de vétusté et de saleté de la "salle de bain" . On a attendu le lendemain pour aller se laver chez notre fils. La chambre était elle aussi sale et peu entretenu vu son état vétuste également. Nous avions réservé 2 nuits, le lendemain soir en revenant à notre chambre nous ne pouvions pas entrer car notre carte ne fonctionnait pas. Aucun veilleur de nuit pour régler le problème, aucun téléphone visible à appeler. Des clients nous ont dit que cela arrivait souvent et que parfois en insistant cela refonctionnait. Pas dans notre cas . Après 1h30 sans solution et le froid qui nous empêchait d'aller dormir dans la voiture, nous avons pris une autre chambre en pensant que le lendemain nous aurions des excuses et un remboursement. Et bien non, juste du mépris et un refus de nous rembourser. La personne de l'accueil nous a donné le mail du patron pour faire une réclamation et un numéro de téléphone,, après 3 mails, nous n'avons jamais eu de réponse. Le téléphone de nuit est visible de jour,mais invisible de nuit vu qu'il n'y a pas d'éclairage la nuit et on nous a expliqué que c'était délibéré pour éviter de déranger le responsable de nuit. Donc fuyez !
