Great host
The host was very welcoming shows he had a passion for his work and cared about the guest experienced. Was a 5 minute walk to the beach and Bournemouth town centre still within easy access

It was lovely hotel, the Owner Chris was very friendly and informative. Continental Breakfast was excellent with all sort of fresh berries and hot toast with tea or coffee served to our table.

Breakfast disappointing
My husband was disappointed that they didn't offer a cooked breakfast. The room was clean and well presented. It did have a very noisy floor, squeaky.

Great space for a short break.
Well positioned for the beach or walking along the esplanade to Poole or Bournemouth.

Very pleasant and welcoming stay.
Had a lovely pleasant stay. Had a very welcoming experience from the owner who seemed genuinely pleased to see us. Gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our room. The room was immaculately clean and very spacious, as was the en-suite. Breakfast was an abundance of fresh yoghurt, pastries, cheeses and cereals. Hot tea and coffee with crumpets, toast etc. would definitely recommend and we will stay again.

Excellent but..
It's a great hotel in a quiet location very close to the beach. The host was excellent - very informative, helpful & friendly. Everything was clean. The breakfast, whilst continental, was plentiful.
The only downside was that the bed was so soft it was difficult to sleep that and a very thick quilt. If you like a soft mattress then fine but we prefer firm ones.

I don't think this property should be advertised as as a 4 Star Hotel (it has 5 stars on the website). It is a good guest house in lovely old house in a great location. It is not luxurious though and personally not worth the money we paid, should be more around the £120-£150 a night. For example there were no black out blinds, economy toilet paper and only continental breakfast. There were also quite a few signs up saying what you could and couldn't do. The beds were not faantastic and there were no other amenitoes apart from the owner could make you a drink.
