Cute cabin-like rooms, very quiet with mini fridge, stove and sink. No extra blankets provided in case someone is sleeping on the futon though. Overall great spot

Such a cute place. We weren't there long, but i would definitely stay there again. Also, if you're looking to disconnect, there is no cell service.

Great stop on a 4 week road trip

I picked Willamette pass because it was rated as a dark sky area. I had hoped to get a good picture of the milky way. Although the parking lot was still lit up at 3am, I didn't want to venture very far by myself, so my picture wasn't spectacular. The room was very nice for a country space. It even had a wood burning fireplace!

Old run down place. Creaky floors. Old mattress. Kitchen ware was in bad shape.

This place was awesome! It had a great 80s-90s winter chalet vibe. The in-room fireplace was really a treat, and the bed was comfy. Also very doy-friendly! I'll definitely stay there again!

Very old fashioned, kind of fun to see. Decent price for size of room and location. Nice restaurant/bar close. Don’t expect any frills in the room, but it’s clean and comfortable.

Needs updated on the rooms. Every thing in the room is old. They ran out of fire wood. It is close to skiing which is why we chose this place.

We were pretty disappointed for the amount of money that we spent for this booking compared to what we got. We were looking forward to the fireplace and the kitchenette that the website said the rooms had, however our room didn’t have either of these. Upon entering the room, it smelled musty and smoky, like a bar. (We were in a non smoking room.) We were OK with it being “rustic” but for what we paid ($150/night), it was definitely not worth that. We were told that the satellite was out due to the storm, which I understand, and that they had a library of movies. We were OK with that, until 20 minutes into a DVD movie the player just stopped working. There is really no choices of food in the area, besides a bar whose food was pretty dried out and a small Mexican spot, which was good but not open for dinner. We picked this spot because we were going skiing at Willamette, which was close and convenient, but next time I would just save my money and do the day trip to Willamette. The cabins may be much nicer, so maybe check those out, but I wouldn’t spend the money for the hotel, as I have stayed in Motel 6s for half the price that were much nicer and cleaner. We didn’t even stay the second night and went back home.

Room smelled of the fireplace in room. There was no air conditioning; only a fan provided air movement on a hot July night. Old coffee and the used coffee filter was still in the coffee maker. There was only one paper coffee cup and one towel on the room which tells me the room wasn’t serviced properly after the last guest. The bedding was very old and worn. The blanket (though unneeded) barely covered the surface of the bed. The manager did give us a good suggestion for dinner. That is the only good thing I can say about this hotel.

Rooms were spacious and had a great rustic feel. Overall property was not well maintained with overflowing garbage bins. Plenty of food options next to the Inn. Being one hour from the crater lake north entrance made it a convenient stay when headed back to Seattle. Plenty recreational activities nearby. We loved the Salt creek falls and a swim in the crescen lake - simoax beach.

The air conditioning was a Walmart fan on the table. The mattress must’ve been about 40 years old because it’s squeaked incessantly. The refrigerator wasn’t plugged in so we couldn’t cool our stuff down. When I plugged in the refrigerator, I found that the electrical strip that powered everything else, the TV, the DVR, etc. The power strip had arc’d when I read the reviews on this place, reviewers gave it an 8 to 10 depending on the room. You can’t rate a room eight when it doesn’t even have air-conditioning or decent mattresses. I wouldn’t have stayed there if it had been rated correctly.

It didn’t have everything we needed. The kitchen was not stocked adequately, our chalet slept seven and they were only five forks, six spoons, and three knives. There wasn’t seven bowls, seven small plates, seven glasses for water. There were barely enough pots and pans and bowls to cook a meal. There was no baking sheet for the oven, the knives were dull, there were crumbs on the bread board, there were dishes in the dishwasher, and there was food left in the refrigerator. There were no sheets and blankets for the futon bed, there was only one roll of toilet paper and enough toiletries for three people, not seven. They were not even seven towels for the shower. For a chalet that sleeps at seven, and there were seven of us staying here, it was not adequately prepared for our stay. The grill was old and looked like it wasn’t cleaned in a long time. Outside on the picnic table, there was an ashtray with cigarette butts in it. This property was not as advertised. For $300 a night it was a disappointment.

Pros: nice lady at the front desk, beautiful location. Cons: the place was disgustingly dirty. I don’t mind an older cabiny experience, this one was dirty. My friend went to get in bed and there were hundreds of dog hairs in the sheets, the dog obviously slept under the bedding! But it was never changed. Mold and dirt in the bathroom everywhere. The shower handle was broken, you had to hold it so it wouldn’t come disconnected from the wall. The coffee pot and kitchen looked like it had never been cleaned, old icky coffee was stuck in the pot and on the machine. Dead bugs on the window ledge. There were old coffee papers in the basket, obviously not cleaned out. There is no cell service and the free internet was spotty at best, which, if that was the only problem I wouldn’t complain, we can survive without that for a day. I highly recommend finding elsewhere. Camping would be cleaner.
