Resting on laurels of beautiful property & design

The wonderfully wide beachfront property sprinkled with pools and organically designed rooms and cabins nestled in the jungle still steal the show. While the rooms smell a bit moldy, the front desk is not well trained or responsive, and the beach/restaurant employees focus more on talking with themselves than the guests, it’s a wonderful experience.

On the main strip in Tulum however pretty far down so expect to shell out for taxis. They drag the beach for the seaweed multiple times a day which was nice. Across all of the area we had moments with servers forgetting items we ordered etc. we borrowed bikes and the first few had issues like flat tires before we got a pair to use. The beauty of the area and the jungle vibes were enjoyable. You can use nomades restaurant / beach

This resort was amazing, the staff was very friendly, the concierge was very helpful and always reaching out to ensure our stay was perfect. The property was beautiful and very quiet and relaxing. It is a very unique and one of a kind type of resort, very tropical/jungle vibe but also very relaxing. The restaurant had great food and drinks, the ocean views were amazing and we had such a great vacation here. We will be back!

I like that Be Tulum is away from the noise and congestion. But, it’s an easy walk to the busy areas if you want a livelier crowd. The rooms are simply and beautifully furnished. The beach is clean and nice with good service. The vendors walking the beach can be a bit much. But, that’s no fault of the hotel.

We stayed and Garden Suit and there was even no coffee machine in the room. there was no vip amenities except discount on food , even there was free rooms they didn't upgrade the room.

Have been coming back for 8 years now and simply love the ambience and the beautiful jungle the villas are nestled within. Throughout the 8 years many things changed - some for the better but also for the worse 1.) prices have increased a lot (which is probably due to the increasing popularity of Tulum and inflation) but at the same time amenities have decreased notably. Usual things you would expect from a hotel in this price range disappeared over the years e.g. slippers, speakers, nespresso machines in the Aire suites. Additionally, this year for the first time there is no more turndown service which used to be provided after your evening shower in the past years. 2.) service at the reception has increased, they now have a concierge service 3.) many activities have been added that can be booked by guests from BeTulum and Nomad 4.) Breakfast hasn’t changed much in options but is as delicious as always 5.) overall service is very friendly 6.) it seemed that they only use copal at night now (used to be in the morning as well) which is very sad if you enjoy the scent :) 7.) updated cocktail options, notably the Condesa As usual I’ve really enjoyed my stay and after 8 times I will probably still return…

This is the sort of property where you can show up with a couple of swimsuits and no shoes and have a great trip. The lobby is outside and the entire resort is accessed through sand paths. Great vibe on the beach during the weekend. A lot of successful men with younger fit women if I needed to paint the picture perfectly. Live Cuban band that was outstanding. Cabanas on the beach were very comfortable as was the furniture. This is a great place to bring your significant other to get away from the crowds and be amongst like-minded people. Children are not allowed which is great. Our children are adults and we prefer to go to resorts where little children are not running around. This is that sort of place. The room has a modern primitive feel to it but not in a bad way. Huge shower with access internally to an outside shower. Our second room basically allowed our neighbors in the hut next door to watch us take a shower so make sure to mentally note that. I do not think they were watching but they could have. The food at the restaurant was outstanding as were the drinks. I am not speaking in terms of what any place could do they actually listened and delivered. Our first room was near the road and I was receiving calls from other rooms for service on the phone. The staff handled it the next day and moved us. Special thanks to Samantha who did such a fantastic job ensuring our trip went smooth. What a wonderful woman she is and we appreciate her effort.
