I was so incredibly happy with my stay at Sama Hotel. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were absolutely brilliant (especially Ali!), so kind and helpful. The location is great, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms are clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable. As a solo female traveller especially, I felt so safe here. It was all perfect. I’ll definitely be staying here whenever I’m in Cairo. 10/10!

This is a great budget hotel in downtown Cairo. Staff is incredibly friendly. Best part of the hotel for sure. It is on the 5th and 6th floor of a building so intially you need to climb some stairs. The elevator does work but you need a fob for it. Rooms are nicely renovated too. If you’re traveling solo or on a budget this is a great hotel.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Rooms are all new and super clean, great soundproof doors on the balconies, since the plaza is very busy and loud, the bed was Fantastic and comfortable. Quick to respond to requests and always with a smile. Would definitely stay there again as it’s quite central to a lot of the monuments to visit, away from the pyramids. Breakfast was served in your room but could be a bit more generous with the portions of fool and falafel :) Thank you everyone at Sama and keep up the great work!

Spotlessly clean room, good price, super friendly and helpful staff — way beyond the usual, ride provided to airport immediately on request at reasonable price and with reassuring reminders, excellent lift/lelevator, great location near Midan Tala’at Harb and its bookstores, including the new Diwan bookstore— all in all, the only place in Cairo I will ever stay! Thank you, Sama Hotel!
