Very charming! Felt like I stepped back in time to a boarding house in a 1930’s Hollywood movie. Fun vibe!

The location was great for visiting friends and enjoying the Bishop Arts District. The highlight of the stay was the service we received from the young lady at the front desk. She's a gem!

Highly recommend staying at The Madison! It exceeded my expectations. I was a little concerned about the parking situation before we got there, but it was not a problem at all. If you aren’t able to park in the little back lot, there is plenty of safe, well-lit street parking available. Having a complementary glass of wine on the patio during their social hour was an amazing surprise, as the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

It was a refurbished historic building, and it was extremely pristine. Loved the decor, and the quiet neighborhood it was in off the road.

The Madison is more than just a hotel—it’s a mood. With the charm of an old jazz bar and the elegance of a Texas homestead, it’s bold, rustic, and beautifully designed. Every space feels intentional, from the small cozy lounge to the vintage-style rooms.
Staying here was like listening to a Mark Knopfler guitar solo: smooth, soulful, and deeply relaxing. The staff were warm, the atmosphere peaceful, and the whole experience left me refreshed. I’ll definitely be back.

The hotel is small, quiet and in a great location, with easy access to downtown by streetcar and walking distance to the Bishop Arts District. The staff were exceptionally helpful and responsive. My only complaint is that the room needed better lighting for reading in bed or working at the desk.

The place was very cute, newly refurbished. However the rooms were very small, we booked a standard queen room, and the bed was 100% not a queen sized bed, it was a full. It was also uncomfortable. Bathroom is the size of a closet, very small.

beautiful boutique hotel, a 10-minute walk from the lively bishop arts district, with darling shops open late, and great restaurants of many flavors.

The building was beautiful and the staff was amazing. My literal only complaint is that I wish there was a dresser or second place to get ready. If my girlfriend had the desk to do her makeup I didn't have anywhere to sit and get ready in a similar matter. It's a super small complaint, we really adored the place.

Our stay was for 2 nights. The inside of the hotel is exquisite! So much history and art work lined the hall walls. It was beautifully put together, cozy, and welcoming!

The property itself was amazing! The neighborhood was a little sketchy and the house next door had very loud, drunk occupants.

The Madison hotel is fantastic! Very charming. Very comfortable. Only drawback was the smell….hallway smelled of cat pee and my bathroom always smelled like sulphur. Otherwise, a fantastic accommodation!
