This is as much a museum as a hotel - but its quirks aren't necessarily appealing. My room (804) was nicely but basically furnished, however, the bathroom was immediately across the corridor - it was odd and very inconvenient to have to leave the main room and walk across the corridor. All other rooms on this floor had proper private bathrooms incorporated into the room layout. This was very disappointing. The room was clean, tidy and with small view of the city. Spacious.
Breakfast was ok - quite restricted, basic choice. Nothing special.
This hotel is clearly charging due to its National Monument status - but unless you're seriously into the history and architecture of this hotel, it's a very overpriced option, for what is actually offered as a hotel. Overall, it was basic and quite disappointing.
