Good hotel in good location

Stayed in a family room which distinctly smaller than the photos on booking site. Stayed in July when the room was very hot - no a/c. Decent condition of the room. We really enjoyed the swimming pool / relax area and excellent breakfast. Good location with easy walking distance to sights in Visby old town and close to the sea front. Parking was not included and rather expensive.

Friendly and welcoming staff, great location and some rooms have ocean views. I was lucky to get such a room, a nice single with a cozy atmosphere too. Very close to elevator and staircase and no soundproof doors. All in all I would stay again.

We enjoyed the sauna and pool, even though pool’s water was cool. Great location, great room. We heard lots of music from outside. For us it was positive and we let the window open. This hotel is good for short or longer stay.

Gorgeous property within the old city walls. Easy to walk to restaurants, stores, and attractions. Breakfast and pool/ spa were fantastic l. Stayed in winter, was very quiet, I assume it is busier in summer. Booked a family room with bunk bed, loved having the extra space and privacy.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this hotel. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Our room was very comfortable from the beds to the nice sofa. The bathroom was spotless and in excellent repair. The heated floors were a bonus! We both loved the breakfast, which had a wide assortment of many local products. It’s fun knowing we are supporting the local farmers. The location of this hotel was perfect, with quick access to everything we wanted to see and do. It was just maybe a 3-minute walk to the Baltic Sea. Walking to Stora Torget took under 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was fine. However, I have a major beef with their customer service. Accommodation was prepaid via Expedia. They took my credit card info on check-in, put close to $1000 on it for potential extras but then did not cancel this on checkout. Impossible to contact the hotel. After 10 days, Expedia customer service managed to get the charges reversed(thank you Expedia) No apologies from hotel or Best Western . I would be in no rush to use this chain of hotels in the future

Toppenhotell!

Mysigt hotell med bra läge innanför murarna och nära stranden och Almedalen. Mycket trevlig personal som månade om oss gäster och gjorde det där lilla extra. Fint rum, bra städning men lite dålig avrinning i badrummet = blev blött på golvet ett par gånger (men detta fixades). Utmärkt frukost och restaurangen höll även toppenklass för övrigt. Vi prövade både en lunch och fick oss också en helt suverän trerätters middag där.

Rummet var lite slitet. Receptionen underbemannad. Försöker man ringa bokningen eller receptionen hamnar man i en telefonsvarare. Relaxavdelningen öppnade kl. 9, men torr- och ångbastun sattes på samtidigt. Så kallt. Dryck fick ej köpas och ta med till relax, inte ens alkoholfritt i plastmugg. Men skön & trevlig pool. De borde putsa till servisen. Hotellet i övrigt var väldigt mysigt, bra frukost.

Golvet i relaxen är väldigt halt..kanske en idé att rugga ytan på en del klinker eller dylikt. tv och fjärrkontroll var inte matchade för varandra, det byttes batteri i hopp om att det skulle hjälpa men nej tyvärr. Frukosten var bra, det kunde funnits någonstans att ställa disk då personalen inte hann röja på borden så det fanns plats för gästerna som fylldes på konstant. Men annars fint rum och trevlig personal i reception!!
