Så otroligt dåligt att det inte finns mörkläggningsgardiner . Det var så ljust i rummet tidigt på morgonen . Också väldigt mörkt och dålig belysning i badrummet .. svårt att se och sminka sig därinne . Fanns ingen förstoringspegel . Mycket slitet rum . Personalen i frukosten otrevliga och inte serviceinriktade .

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich hervorragend – direkt gegenüber dem beeindruckenden Schloss von Kalmar und nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Unser Zimmer war ganz in Ordnung, allerdings ein Dachzimmer, sodass wir uns ständig den Kopf gestoßen haben. Außerdem musste man eine steile und enge Treppe in den ersten Stock hinaufsteigen – mit schwerem Gepäck, wie in unserem Fall, keine einfache Aufgabe. Die Vorhänge wirkten altmodisch und schienen schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen zu sein. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und bot eine gute Auswahl. Allerdings war der Frühstücksraum recht überfüllt, was zu einer etwas hektischen Atmosphäre führte. Trotz kleinerer Mängel ist das Hotel eine gute Basis, um Kalmar und die wunderschöne Insel Öland zu erkunden.
