We really enjoyed our stay at Meadow Rise. Bourton on the Water is a pretty place and conveniently located. Some lovely walks but you do need a car. Thanks Wendy and Clive for your hospitality

The only thing that kept it from being super AMAZING is that we only had 2 days to spend there! The charm of the guest house, our room, the location and of course the hosts was unsurpassed. The breakfast totally satisfying to start the days journey. There was no TV but surprisingly we didn’t care because the phenomenal view from our room looked upon a serene field of sheep and stunning white horses. Impeccably clean and well maintained. A very short walk to the vibrant village with super shops and eateries. Of course the icing on the cake is Clive and Wendy, the amazing hosts who made us feel like we were home. We want to go back!

The owners were so welcoming and nice to me that I could feel at ease during the stay. The place was tidy and clean and its neighborhood was just great! The only thing to notice is that because the property is old, there might be sound of footsteps from the floor above, especially when children are jumping and running… But other than that, it was literally lovely! The house is worth staying!

A really cosy and beautiful place to explore Burton-on-water on foot. The host were exceptionally nice and helpful. Best breakfast we had in England. Un endroit accueillant et douillet permettant d'explorer facilement le joli village de Bourton-on-water. Les hôtes étaient très sympathiques et aidants. Meilleur déjeuner que nous ayons eu en Angleterre.

We stayed for 2 nights. Hosts were lovely and the accommodation was very close to the main street in Bourton. A 5 min walk. Bed was very comfortable. Ensuite was quite small, but adequate. A very pleasant stay.
