VPM Rooms is in an ideal location near the Garibaldi train station in Naples to access transportation within and outside the city. One might be a bit concerned about safety given the neighborhood, but there are uniformed police inside and outside the station. The property is newly renovated and clean and communications with management were clear using WhatsApp. Rooms are a bit small but well organized. The breakfast is choice of croissant and coffee.

Comfort and convenient stay in Naples

Great spot near train station and easy walk to some scenic areas and tour. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The only suggestion is to make check-in procedures more clear and a picture of entrance to accommodation, as it wasn’t marked very well and not your standard hotel entrance or lobby.

This room was very close to the main train station and bus routes which made any transport a snap. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was the best we’ve ever experienced at any hotel worldwide; we enjoyed staying here.

Convenient but not pleasant location

Stayed at Michele's property for 2 nights. We needed something close to the train station and to catch the Metro to a soccer game at Stadio Maradona. He was a wonderful host and the room was impeccable. Clean, new, fairly spacious, nice bathroom with a wonderful shower. The hotel door is not marked. It is basically an opening in a large wooden gate that opens to a garage area and then the stairs. It is part of a larger building.This seems to be common in Naples. Michele and staff were very kind, and allowed us to check in early. The surrounding area is not pleasant. There are homeless guys living across the street and a lot of street vendors/guys hanging out activity. We did not encounter any issues, even coming home at midnight with 2 kids. But it is not pretty or relaxing. I think the location works for proximity to the station, but I wouldn't choose it for a long stay since it is not as close to the nicer areas on Naples.

Excelent property very comfortable clean and spacious. The building is old so the entrance looks like a dungeon, but that's what old buildings in Naples look like. The area seems a bit sketchy, but it's not the same as USA big city sketchy. Guys and couples will find the area safe. Girls travelling alone or with a girlfriend might find it a bit uncomfortable as there are a lot of men around at night hanging out at the plaza. Overall VPM rooms is excellent value for money and the breakfast was a plus.

This property had beautiful rooms. Very clean, affordable and the staff was extremely helpful and very kind. Google Translate helped with the language barrier with the staff. The property owner/manager communicated by text in English. Outside of the property is a little different than we expected but we never felt unsafe. It was just very busy with the train station 2 blocks away and Garibaldi Square. There were wonderful little restaurants in the area. We had an amazing time! The room was spotless. Is self check in but the property gets in touch with you at all times, great service and amazing breakfast. To be honest the only thing I did not like it was the surroundings of the hotel building. Felt a little insecure and very unclean. Not their fault thought.

A great stay in a beautiful room. As stated elsewhere, the rooms themselves have been recently renovated. I doubt you will find a cleaner, more comfortable room. The staff were exceptional. Front desk facilities and breakfast were just around the corner at the New Sayonara hotel and contrary to what you may read elsewhere, you do not need coins for the lift, nor do you need to download an app! Prior to your stay you will be contacted and the ever friendly team will stay in touch via WhatsApp. Super convenient for Centrale Station. Buses, taxis and trains all at your fingertips, no matter your destination. Would I stay again? Most definitely!

Very close to central train station. Owner gives you details to check in and can do self check-in at your own convenience. Checkout Is at 10am not noon. This is a small operation which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The neighbourhood appears rundown and with alot of immigrants. That being said no one hassled us and the locals in the area even helped us at one point when we couldn't find the breakfast area entrance. I would stay here in the future for sure.

There was a group of us that was waiting for check in since at 2pm since there was no 24h check in, but overall I only waited 5-10minutes. The room is excellent, spacious, newly renovated, AC and TV working with Netflix, there is a hair dryer and electric kettle as well. The workers who came to clean the place in the morning is loud - so if you like to stay in bed in the morning this maybe an issue. The place is 5 min walk from the central station, there is also plenty of food options. The area is a hub for immigrants - lots of Asian stores and African stores, but it was safe. I did not see pr hear any brawl or issues and there are police presence too. Great value for the price.

The bear minimum, not very pleasant

The bear minimum. Small room with small bathroom. Pros: - close to the train and bus stations - clean The cons: - no service - check in was supposed to be 1pm, at 3:30pm when we arrived the room was still being cleaned - check out was supposed to be 10:30am, we were asked to leave at 10am - we were supposed to have a breakfast but only got the info on where to get it 10min before check out so we couldn't get it - very noisy - no blackout curtains and a very vivid light at the window until late in the night - big lack of furniture (no bedside table or lamp, no room in the bathroom, shower head very low for tall people) - construction and scaffolding on the terrasse
