I have never written a negative review before, but my experience with this hotel was so frustrating that I feel compelled to warn other travellers, especially families.
From the outset, the customer service was absolutely abysmal. Over the course of more than a week, I tried to contact the hotel to ask a simple question about bringing a travel cot for our baby. My calls either went unanswered or, shockingly, someone would pick up and immediately hang up. My messages through the hotels.com chat were completely ignored.
On the one occasion I did manage to speak to someone, the staff member was rude and dismissive, promising a call back that never came. I was left in limbo, with no information and mounting anxiety as our travel date approached.
It was only after escalating the issue with hotels.com that I finally received a response—through a third party, no less. To my disbelief, I was told that not only would we not be allowed to check in with our baby, but we would also not be refunded anything for the stay.
This experience was deeply upsetting. I was left feeling stressed, unwelcome, and out of pocket, all because the hotel refused to communicate or show even the most basic courtesy. This is not just poor service—it’s shocking and unacceptable.
If you’re travelling with family or value even a minimum standard of customer care, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Avoid this inn unless you want unnecessary stress and disappointment to ruin your trip.
