This is a lovely newer hotel. Decorated very tastefully, super clean, pool area is beautiful! Everything about it is top notch. Close to the city gate and the staff were friendly and professional. Will definitely stay again. 😀

Great value and comfort in Evora

Hotel is very new (Oct 2024) so in excellent condition. Extremely comfortable bed. Great value with onsite restaurant and pool (small fee to use). Easy walk thru the old city walls. Leisurely 20 minute walk to the Basilica which is fantastic because you walk up the tower and across the roof to get panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

A new hotel just outside the gate to the walled old town. Free parking on the street out front was also a plus. It was a 20 minute walk to the bone chapel and Roman ruins through the heart of the old town. A perfect location to stay as driving in the old town is hectic looking. The hotel opened in December 2024 so is still very new and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again should we ever return to Evora.

We were greated at once. Unfortunately i forgot the gentlemans name who greeted us yesterday. We arrived around 2pm. He gave us a map and suggestions of locations to visit. It was wonderful we wete close enoughbto walk to yhe sites. It is lovely. He also offered suggestion for dinner at the resteraunt attached. He explained that our breakfast was included with our stay. All staff we met were very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff receptionist, Adriana, gave us a warm big welcome and she even informed us about the hotel rewards program, which we were not aware of at first. Ana, housekeeping, always has a huge smile. No matter how busy, she took a minute to greet us. Roberto from dining was very attentive and he made sure the plates and tables were cleared and clean. Genuine employees and everyone seems to really like their job. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Kind regards.

Negatives: there was room for only one suitcase. Not two. Had to put them on the floor. And no place to put clothing. There was no fridge. Bedside table was teeny… about size of an 8.5x11 inch piece of paper. Room for hotel phone and if I was careful my water bottle. Positives: It’s new and exceptionally clean and very good value. The included breakfast was very adequate and offered a fair variety .

Café da manhã muito bom, localidade próxima ao centro histórico, quarto limpo. Porém recebemos o último quarto do nível da rua com muito barulho de automóveis e que precisávamos percorrer um longo corredor com as malas. Pedimos para alterar o quarto para mais perto da recepção mas a atendente foi bastante agressiva na resposta e não nos mudou de quarto.

O Holiday Inn Express atende bem a aqueles que procuram uma estadia rápida em Évora. O hotel é novo , com camas confortáveis e estacionamento gratuito, no subsolo do prédio. Café da manhã simples, mas suficiente. Acredito que a limpeza possa melhorar e também, a organização. Ficamos três noites e, em um dos dias, colocaram toalha de piscina para o banho, pois não tinham outras. O restaurante parceiro é gostoso mas bem caro !
