A lovely place to stay in Barcelona! A little out of the way from downtown, but easy to get anywhere by metro (about 8 min walk to the metro). My room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was amazing (available all day!), and Thai was very friendly and helpful! I would love to stay here again!

What you don’t see from the listed photos is the gorgeous facade of the building. It is recessed from the street so when you arrive there is a real sense of wow. We had room 8 with private bathroom and shared terrace. You also don’t see there is access to the roof with a fab view! Very close to metro which we used to get around, and to park Guell. Being able to have a snack whenever was a great feature, as was a map that was left in our room. Very happy with our stay here

At first I thought that it was not clean but upon further investigation I realized that the floor tiles were old and discolored. I did not expect a shared bathroom. Area for walking was OK but hilly. Breakfast foods were plentiful and delicious, and all day!!!

Cute property! Has a sink inside room and they provide you with towels. You do have to share a bathroom, but kept very clean. Loved that it has breakfast included! Quiet neighborhood. If you are walking to property and have luggage, be ready for the incline walk.

We felt very comfortable during our entire stay. The house with the garden is truly an oasis of well-being and yet not far from the metro. The path to the house is a bit steep, we were only traveling with backpacks, so not a big problem. We received a very warm welcome and were always warmly looked after during our stay. We had a delicious breakfast (cheese, ham, bread/toast| muesli, fruit and vegetables) and were able to linger in the garden for a long time. Verdi 254 is definitely recommendable.

Very cute and charming place. Bathroom and shower are outside of room, didn’t like that. The door was hard to close and lock each time. It was a double door that had a bolt to lock with key. You had to line up both doors to close. They had the nicest breakfast for a hostel and coffee. I loved it. Has hacienda vibe with title floors. This place is perfect but if you are cautious and traveling alone it might not be ideal due to bathrooms being out of room. The hostel does require key to get into campus and “lobby” area and room. I would stay here again. The staff were awesome and lovely and kind.

I was given a room that did not have a shower/bathroom inside the room. Had to share a bathroom with those staying in adjoining rooms. This was not advertised and very misleading.

Check in time for this property is listed until 8pm. We arrived to a locked gate at 7pm and were only allowed on the property by a kind soul who had pity on us. There was also another guest waiting to check in once inside the property. She had also been waiting for 30 minutes prior to our arrival. Multiple attempts were made to contact the property manager without success. Thankfully the other guest was able to find a WhatsApp number for the business and contact them. We waited over two hours to check in. Had it not been for the kindness of strangers we would have been locked out on the street all night. Once checked in, we found there is only a community bathroom on each floor. This is not explained in the property details. The elevator is also in disrepair and you can only use the stairs. I would not recommend this place. We only saw once staff person during our entire stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Liliana the maid was super welcoming on arrival, who really made us feel at home from the get go. I do speak Spanish so was able to communicate well but she does have limited English. The breakfast every day was free and such a great spread of fruit, juices, cheese, muesli, biscuits, cakes, delicious coffee and OAT MILK which I was so happy about as it doesn’t often happen in places. It was great to sit and have breakfast on the terrace before we went out for the day. It’s really quiet, easy access, free water to fill bottles for the day and a fridge if you want to store food. Towels and shampoo/conditioner provided. Slight drawback is sharing a bathroom but this was only with 1 other room and it was always left really clean so we didn’t find it a problem. The house really is yours to roam around in. The location was really great for us as we walked down into Vila de Gracia every evening which takes 10 or 15 mins. The nearest metro is Lesseps which is about 5 mins walk and takes you to the airport via a few metro changes. The other metro is Joanic which takes you to the beach. It’s also right near Park Guell if that interests you. Overall would highly recommend!
