Very friendly staff who made my stay very relaxing. I am vegan and had a very good vegan mushroom and lentil pie for dinner. Very good.

Fairly priced, clean room and decent size for a family of 4. Food wise, Pork Trio was delicious, breakfast basic but acceptable.

Very convenient for a New Years Eve wedding. Some reviews complained about the breakfast but it’s very clear you’re getting a continental breakfast which we found more than adequate. All the staff we met were very helpful.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful we had to go up a flight of stairs with suitcases and bags my husband is disabled and im in my 70 s we managed, with some effort .
The room was a standard room however only 2 coffees and 2 teabags were left each day so i bought a jar of coffee and teabags for our room . Our sink wasnt cleaned on one of the days it still had the teastains where we had enptied our cups. Only 1 bathtowel and a hand towel were left the same for the duration of our stay . My husband wasnt very pleased with his meat pie as he felt it was floating in gravy and the dish it was served in made it hard for him to eat however i had the house salad and i was very pleased with it

A warm welcome, large comfortable bedroom with a modern shower room.
The breakfast is buffet style with good choice of options, the restaurant has a good menu and the portions are very generous.
We would definitely stay again.

Located in a lovely little village and handily placed for Driffield and the coast. Staff super friendly and helpful. Evening meals were decent, I really enjoyed eating here, except the breakfast which was a bit pants to be honest. Rooms were ok for the price paid, think travel lodge standard and you won’t be disappointed. The only irritation was the disco downstairs which went on till midnight, otherwise a lovely stay

Its beautifully situated on the village green and is popular with locals as a pub and for dining. The latter is not surprising as our evening meals were superb, staff really helpful and we complimented the chef for that.
Breakfast, a buffet as advertised on booking, was however unexciting.
We had chosen the cheaper rooms and we understand the more expensive 'downstairs' rooms would have been more up-to-date.
The immediate surrounds, as a parking lot, detracted from the location in this pleasant village.

We stayed in room 5 (family room) it was so run down and tatty! Holes in the walls, spiders in the corners of the room, damp and cracked plaster around the windows, stained bedding! Just grim!
Then to top it off, when we arrived for breakfast there was nowhere for us to eat!!! A party of 15, staying at the hotel had all the tables reserved together! Absolutely shocking service!

* Does what it says on the tin!*
We booked a Premium King Room at the White Horse, room spacious and immaculate, ensuite clean with toiletries provided, standard teas, coffees also provided etc. The bed was comfortable room spacious. We were in newer ground level block of rooms which are a short walk to the pub. Self service continental breakfast was in the main building. Even though it was classed as continental there was the option to make boiled eggs and a toaster. Food was plentiful and staff, although minimal, were helpful. This was a one-off booking due to its proximity to local train station (10 mins walk away) and was perfect for our stay. There is nothing negative to add, all went smoothly including early check-in. I would have liked to try Sunday lunch as the lack of english breakfast does somewhat take the edge off after a night out. However, we knew what we had booked and the location was perfect for our needs. Would use again if required.

Put in disabled room, which was not needed and not advertised.
Booked twin, but had emergency chords by beds and disabled shower, nothing wrong with this, but if we had been told beforehand we would have booked elsewhere.
Dont bother with breakfast, just toast, cereal and not much of that.
