Marvellous in every respect. We’ve visited Nürnberg many times but this was our first time to stay in the Altstadt. It was the perfect location with wonderful staff, a lovely room and excellent breakfast. Highly recommended

Perfect mix of old and modern

This "old" family hotel is very modern. Never saw an elevator like that. The sauna was wonderful and the pool area cute although I didn't use the pool. Desk staff was extremely kind and helpful when i wasn't feeling well and the nearby parking worked out great. Lovely hotel so close to everythin!

I loved this hotel. Since you arrive you feel like home and not in a hotel. Herr Schmidt is a great host and will quickly set you up with a map and a lot of suggestions to explore Nürnberg. Cleanliness was on point and rooms are cozy, the bed might give you the impression that is uncomfortable but once you go to bed, it’s really comfy. I didn’t have the chance to go to the sauna or the pool cause I’m not particularly into it but the fact that this hotel offers that, puts it on another level. This is my second time visiting Nürnberg, if life grants me another chance next year, I’d definitely stay at Burghotel.

What a gem! I am a bit reluctant to post such a shining review because I want to keep it a secret, but it deserves a shout out. Located just a short walk to the castle on a picturesque cobbled street, this is a lovely little hideaway. Check-in was prompt, staff so very friendly. (Thank you Sabine) The rooms were clean and comfortable. Pet peeve of mine is finding gunge in the corners or hair in the bathroom so I don't say this lightly - it was exceptionally clean. There is a pool and sauna on the lower level. We've stayed in the "fancier" hotels here and have to say we enjoyed this more. On top of it all was a very budget-friendly rate. Will return!

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr praktisch mitten in der Altstadt und man kann von dort alles gut erkunden. Die Zimmer sind nicht klimatisiert, nachts kann man leider auch nicht die Fenster aufmachen, da es sehr laut ist, man ist ja mitten drin. Das Kopfkissen war furchtbar. Der Pool im Keller ist super, jedoch hätte ich erwartet, dass ein Bademantel im Zimmer ist und man ihn sich nicht erst im Keller holen muss. Personal sehr freundlich
