It was a great spot for us as we were only there for a night. Great theme pub ( American) and restaurant as the meals were on the large size and most enjoyable. Rooms were lovely size and well presented and had everything you needed and great selection of toiletries.

They remembered to give me my “usual” room which was a nice touch. A lovely hot shower and delicious breakfast. I’m definitely coming back soon.

A hidder Aberdonian Gem

This is a hidden gem. A quirky little place in the backstreets of town yet a very short taxi ride from town. Wifi is good, rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bar is well stocked with whiskies - some single malts that i have never seen before. All for a fraction ofvthe price of other local hotels in Aberdeen.

Avoid this site

We arrived and this hotel was closed down. I have emailed hotels.com twice with no response. The money has been taken from my account with no sign of a refund. We arrived in aberdeen as our father was in a serious road traffic accident he sadly passed away and we did not need this extra stress. Totally dreadful service from this site. I will not let this go until my money has been refunded!

6/10 Good

Inexpensive, clean but dated on outskirts of city

Budget hotel on the outskirts of Aberdeen. We stayed with 3 kids and it was 'fine'. The place itself needs a big refresh - think old carpets, dated wallpaper etc. it was clean and relatively quiet which was great. Food was good, staff seemed to be not very well trained, but were polite and helpful. Location is about 30 mins walk to centre of Aberdeen in a residential neighborhood but on a bus route which works well.

8/10 Very good

I had a really nice, large, comfy room but with no tea/coffee which I think was an error given the quality and cost of the room. Breakfast was excellent as were the staff.

The 2nd time I've stayed here and it was even better than the 1st time. The staff are very friendly, the room was really large with great views. Finally the breakfast was huge and delicious. Thank you everyone I'll be back.

Ooters

A cheap hotel and it was reflected in the price albeit you should always expect more. Wouldn’t return.
Stuart, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This was a really fun place to stay. Relaxed atmosphere, excellent range of cocktails, fun touches like a DVD library to choose something to watch in your room, American diner, bar and games room attached. The room had a proper kettle, great range of coffees/teas and toiletries, decent shower. There is a large carpark, hotel is easy to get to, didn't notice any road noise or noise from the bar below. Special shout out to Emily, our waitress for dinner, she was very friendly, attentive and was kind to our dog, definitely an asset to your team! The only negative I could give is furnishings could do with an update in places, worn/frayed carpets, chipped enamel in bathtub. Personally these are pretty low down my list of priorities though!

Well located, friendly staff but could improve

Bar is American themed with Elvis cut out, juke box etc. Good selection of beers and spirits. Menu is the same for bar and restaurant and is mostly "pub grub". Staff are friendly and helpful.Room was basic and a bit tired (damaged furniture and stained wallpaper). WiFi in bedroom area was very poor. No EV charging point.

4/10 Fair

I booked a family room of 5 to stay in over night and we checked in late due to travelling late to Aberdeen. Staff was friendly just a little misunderstanding at the start as l had to call for attention as no one was at the reception when were arrived, which l shouted “can we check in please” and one of the staff that attended thought l said chicken! And had to emphasise CHECK IN which was a little humiliating as I was so tired as l had been driving most part of the day. A little late on after Checking Inn my little one who suffers from almost every allergy including dust and dust mites allergies started sneezing and l didn’t take any notice as the window was opened at arrival, it’s not until later after the kids had went to bed l started noticing so much dust just sitting on top of most surfaces including the bed side desk, the microscope in the room. That was very visible, the window sills, the bath tub but what got to me the most was the dust and urine residue at the bottom of the toilet seat in the bathroom. My partner convinced me that it was too late in the night to complain and besides kids were already sleeping. I think the room being a family room requires good inspection and a good deep cleaning that includes the carpet in the room.

Uncomfortable check-in & Dirty room

I was initially ignored by the staff at check-in, to the point they turned their backs to me. However, according the manager this was apparently a training exercise to encourage staff engagement. I should note, he only offered this explanation when I commented on how awful the service had been. The room was unfortunately very dirty in areas, visible layer of dust on TV, stains on furniture and urine stains on the toilet. There was also dirt and dust in the bath… also scummy rings at the edge of the bath which looked to have been made by a bottle. Dirty streaks in the sink and used tissue crumpled on the cistern. Ironically, despite the mess there was a bottle of industrial cleaner left in the bathroom. There were also slimy marks on the bedside cabinet. I had been driving for hours and just needed to sleep but on reflection I should have left the hotel or at least demanded another room. I won’t be back.
