It is a beautiful building and property, marred right now by construction stuff. But the interior is still beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful. And because not full, we got primo seat by big new windows for breakfast buffet - absulutely stunning.

Would have been better if Expedia offered the same deal as the hotel. The hotel was offering pay for 2 nights and get the third for free. Didn’t find out until we arrived at the hotel and the hotel would not honor rate because of booking with Expedia.
Expedia didn’t show parking was $30 per night.

Front desk sent a wrong message on the Dining Room Restaurant operations and sink in the room was clogged and dirty water always stayed there. We had expected Ahwanee is the best hotel in Yosemite but it was not really.

A bit tired appearance in hallway and rooms, but service was great, staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and, of course, the setting was beautiful.

Stayed in cottage away from main building. I don’t recommend their cottages. Reminded me of a $79.00 a night red roof in room. Electric outlets worked occasionally. Shower ran out of hot water fast. Furnishing’s were sparse to say the least. Did have a great coffee maker. Thermostat didn’t work. Cold in room without recourse to heat. Stay in main building rooms instead. After all incredible location.saw a few deer.
