This was a last minute reservation due to a flight cancellation. We were so happy they had a room for us.The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. It's a very quaint place. I enjoyed the historical scrapbook in the office.

My wife and I honeymooned at the Kauai Inn and loved our stay. The landscaping and views of the mountain (and stars at night) were amazing, and it was so nice to wake up in paradise. The cats and peacocks wandering the grounds were fun, but the roosters can be annoying for light sleepers so remember to pack earplugs. The staff were super nice and made sure our honeymoon was magical, even giving us a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate! The buildings do show some age, but that is to be expected for a 130 year old inn. Overall the rustic setting and wonderful landscape really helped us get into the island vibe though, and we look forward to coming back for an anniversary celebration.

The Kaua’i Inn is a charming older hotel surrounded by gorgeous views of the mountains. While the building is showing its age, the owners do a wonderful job maintaining the original character of the property. Compared to other hotels in the area, the Kaua’i Inn is a tremendous value that still manages to offer its guests an exceptional experience. Next time we return to the island we’ll be sure to return to the Kaua’i Inn.
