Great place to stay by Antwerp Central

We stayed on the junior suite on the 8 th floor, it is very comfortable and have a magnificent view of the train station and the plaza, really enjoyed it

Very clean, great customer service, located very close to the train station. However, the first floor street noise could be heard, but only somewhat. I would definite stay here again but ask for a room not so close to the ground level.

No reception at time of booking so had to go to sister hotel vet the square which wasn’t too bad. Breakfast was very expensive so didn’t bother. Had lovely breakfasts out in the square for 1/4 price!

Fabulous Antwerp

The location right across the square from the train station is great. Check in was a bit of a trial as I was instructed to check in at the other Radisson across the square and they were not coping with the number of people checking in at once. My hotel lobby was being refurbished so that was the reason. The room was very large and very comfortable. This was great value for money in terms of location- a -15 minute easy walk to the Old Town with its museums and fabulous restaurants. Definitely would stay again.

The reception is not at the same site, though nearby. This was a surprise and detracts slightly from safety. Room was clean and spacious. The tub plug was unfortunately not functional. Near to transport and shopping.

I only did not like that my room was the very few in a level the elevator does not reach. I did not expect to have to carry my luggage a flight of stairs. Other than that, nice, clean, center of plenty activities of a hotel. Basic essentials met!

when we arrived after booking twin beds were told much to the amusement of your recpionist you only had double left We are 2 men . After not accepting that and much tooing and frowing we moved to radison blue . The room was ok but all the toiletries were 3mpry i complained yet they were never refilled . cwrtainly wont be back.

I got robbed by the hotel

Me and my better half paid for a room where 5 out of 6 electricity plugs didnt work so we just had one plug to charge all our electronics. Terrible service from the hotelmanager. I asked to talk to him/her four times and got turned down every time!!! No mail or phone call from the manager or hotell on how the hotel should compensate our hotelrom. Yes i will say that we paied and got robbed. This hotel dont care about us or the fact that we are gold member on this app. Terible and arrogant service

Disappointing

Super conveniently situated next to Antwerpen Centraal station. An exceptionally slimmed down place as far as hotels go. Breakfast was included. What it doesn;t say until you check in is that you will have go across the square to a sister hotel. Through the pouring rain, the freezing fog and whatever happens to come down at that point. There is no bar, obviously no restaurant, sound proofing is non-existent and the whole feeling is one of tiredness. Worn flooring, stained bathroom surfaces. There is small display in the lobby where bottled water, chocolate and nuts can be bought. On the plus side, there are loads of restaurants around and local transport is on the doorstep, trams, bus and metro. Room prices vary per day (huh???) and a request for no housekeeping is ignored. Would I return? No.

The hotel is maintained well. My issue is with how our bags were handled. My companion and I arrived quite early(we were aware of this and only in Antwerp for 1 day so we decided to leave bags and explore). Bags were placed in a closet at the front of the hotel desk and the agent told us she would tag all of our bags together so they would not get separated. We had 4 luggage pieces and a shopping bag from a very expensive store we visited the day before in Paris. When we arrived back at the hotel at 3:00 Checkin time we did not realize that we made it upstairs without the shipping bag. We went to dinner and explored the city more and never occur to us. The next morning as I was collecting our things I realized the shopping bag was not with us so I went downstairs collect it. It was nowhere to be found. I had a train to catch and was unable to stay until a manger arrived. I have since emailed Raddison 4 times to no avail. No one has even responded to an email. Very upset by this.
