Aweful in every way, not clean, not functioning, awful food. The staff was mostly very friendly and tried to help except the management, but that in no way makes up for the deficiencies of the property. Easily the worst IHG property I've been to.

Great Hotel

Holiday Inn Resort is one of the best hotels to stay in Bodrum. Located in the first shoreline, it offers stunning views, clean beach, beautiful rooms with little balconies, helpful, friendly and multilingual staff. During my one-week-stay I was mesmerised by young and welcoming employees, overall atmosphere in the hotel, accommodation and more.

Chilled Week in Beautiful Surroundings

For the price we paid we were more than happy with our stay at The Holiday Inn, Bodrum. Our check-in was smooth and we were shown to our room, which would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to the number of steps and general logistics of getting around the hotel. We were more than happy with our room which had comfortable firm beds, endless supply of bottled water, tea & coffee and Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner! All staff we encountered were polite and helpful we had no issues with language barrier. Surroundings were stunning and we loved the chilled vibe around the pool which always had plenty of free sunbeds which were comfortable and beach towel available to use daily. The breakfast options do cater more for Turkish, middle Eastern guests but we loved the bread, omelettes, cheese, fresh fruit, honey and there was plenty of choice but don't go expecting an english breakfast! We spoke to other guests whose experience was different to ours so aware that this is the reason for the differing reviews currently for this hotel but for us we had no complaints.

Great hotel, affordable during the off-season

Beautiful hotel for an affordable rate during the off-season in September. The room was good, but could’ve been more refined and polished. Somethings were broken and the toiletries weren’t stocked when we arrived. When asked, the receptionist was somewhat short with me, or perhaps this was just a misinterpretation! The amenities were great and everywhere was a great vantage point. Getting around the hotel was difficult, there are lots of stairs! It is really big and can be hard to navigate. The signage to navigate could be better and better explained by staff. We never got round to using the spa and opted to use the pool vs the “private beach” when we stayed in. We did make some requests (a room close to stairs/elavator during booking and a bathtub due to mobility issues, but these weren’t seen by the hotel and when requested them at check-in they said they couldn’t offer anything further and were booked out. We were also told our room had a sea view, but this was debatable! Finally, one evening there was a party/rave seemingly at Bodrum Castle which is in view from the hotel. It was audible from the hotel, but not enough to keep us from sleeping. Overall, a good hotel experience.

My daughter and I planned this mother daughter trip and arrived to your Hotel. From the entrance with Emre, to front desk with Yusuf and his team, the hospitality was superb. The view from the large terrace (front of the hotel) was magnificent. Felt like you were on top of Bodrum. Back of the resort extremely relaxing with excellent service by many lounge areas right along the water. Views are breathtaking both front of the property and back not to mention 10 minutes taxi to the city center where the shops are located. Highly recommend!! Staff was extremely unresponsive. We had to call and ask for coffee 7 times, water 5 times, asked for the room service menus 3 times and food took forever to get here. This property needs a major overhaul both in terms of renovation as well as staff. Such poor house keeping. The 1st room we checked in was left with strands of hair, the 2nd one has cigarette ash all over the pillows. Finally the 3rd room turned out to be decent. The bathrooms are small and have a pungent smell. The only shining grace was Mr. Esne who took note and acknowledged all of our problems and helped in every possible way to sort them out. But it was a bad experience overall.

Being an Expedia member for almost 20 years now, I don’t know how Expedia is even listing this hotel! The hotel was below average, the service was really bad, the towels in the rooms were being folded back on the rack without changing them!! I didn’t have any shampoo or shower gel in my room, also the tv channels were not working, they were getting stuck despite the promises that I got from the receptionist that it will be fixed, they have even skipped a day without doing any housekeeping. But the shocking incident that happened was one day before our checkout date, I went back to the room at around 3:30pm and all both my suitcases were not in the room, I was shocked and when I have contacted the receptionist, she didn’t even understand what I was saying. I had to go all the way up to the reception and met the manager who took me in the storage room where I found my luggage there!! He said sorry very quietly as if he was trying to tell me not to make a scene. This hotel staff doesn’t even know what they are doing, I bet they have hired people temporarily for the season only. My recommendation, please don’t fall for the name or the chain, do your research.

Dem Bad konnte man den veralteten Zustand deutlich ansehen, von den Armaturen ist bereits das Chrom abgebröckelt, sag sehr mittgenommen aus. Handtücher gab es erst nach Nachfrage. Bis auf das Personal am Empfang sprach keiner der Mitarbeiter Englisch. Außerdem wäre es gut gewesen, wenn man den Valet-Service direkt vom Empfang beauftragen könnte, aktuell musste man immer separat zum Valet Schalter spazieren um sein Auto holen zu lassen, angeblich können die Mitarbeiter am Empfang den Valet nicht anrufen, sehr fragwürdig.
