Comfortable hotel room (would have appreciated more storage) but the stand out feature of staying here is the staff. The receptionists are all very friendly and the pub that is part of the hotel was great. The service was exceptional from all of the friendly staff and the food for lunch or dinner was extremely tasty and reasonable prices for the area. The location is great for eating, drinking, shopping and using public transport

Great Stay

The fabulous view and balcony was the highlite. The hotel had everything we needed and is very central with many restaurants and bars. Great breakfast included in restaurant next door. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The bus stop is very close and we took the local bus to many Malta locations. The ferry is also very close. I would recommend.

Really modern hotel, with large rooms and friendly reception staff. A perfect base for our holiday! The breakfast was great, and included various continental and cooked options. The vegetarian cooked options were relatively good (scrambled egg, beans, tomato, boiled eggs) which was a great for me. The street is a bit loud / busy at the weekend but we literally never heard anything from our room.

A great little gem right on the sea front of Sliema. Rooms were amazingly spacious and very clean. Even tho there were bars with loud music below, you couldn’t really hear it above. Highly recommend staying here.

Quite the letdown

Definitely expected more out of this stay. We were told on arrival that the pool wasn’t available which was a big part of why we booked. Apparently the deal with a nearby pool club had stopped. They gave an alternative of one a 30-minute walk away which is far from ideal. The hotel offered nothing to compensate for this and no support to change our booking considering the difference from what was advertised. They ignored my direct requests and hotels.com requests to cancel the second half of a 4-night booking. We would have happily booked elsewhere, especially since the room was not very comfortable. The bed was very hard with either a massive pillow or a thin lumpy pillow. The bathroom sink is comically big and takes up the entire counter space and it’s one of those showers with no door so water splashes all over the floor. Breakfast is just fine and didn’t add anything to our trip. No chance I’d book there again and suggest you could find a better option.

Hotel is clean, tidy, and conveniently located, with relatively easy transport links to a lot of the island, or the Valetta transport hub which can reach the areas not covered by the buses going from or through Silema. If I had any niggle it would be the shower design, practically guaranteed to get water all over the bathroom floor, but that was a minor issue.
