Great breakfast, recommended restaurants are good, lots of parking front and back although sadly none reserved for disabled, helpful staff, great location especially for shuttle bus to trolltunga P2. Great views from the front although noisy in the street until circa 02.00 at a weekend

Great location to stay in Odda

This is a nice property. Unfortunately the day I arrived the street in front was under repair and closed so getting to reception was difficult. Aside from that the property was very nice. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were nice sized and neat.

Stayed, 13 - 14 May, Solo, Male, Single Room. Overall great location, prices were OK, and very practical. Breakfast was terrible, don't expect much. And, the bathroom had mould, which was not ideal. But other than that, I think the hotel meets your basic needs.

Stay here!

Fantastic hotel with the best view out of any hotel window due to its great location. Room clean and comfortable. Friendly staff who are happy to answers questions and have good ideas of where is best to eat and visit. Breakfast is plentiful and good with a varied selection. I will return again.

Rooms need updating (we stayed in 416) it was a 1970s time capsule. No blackout curtains which is very annoying for summer time travel when sunset is after 2200 and sun rise is before 0500. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and well situated. Expensive/ like everything else in in Norway.

Spent one night here on our Norway travels as it was close to the starting point for the Trolltunga hike. The hotel was very basic but clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even allowing us to have breakfast (which was great) before the usual start time so that we could get off to an earlier start. Something to consider though if you're planning to get up early for Trolltunga- we stayed on a Saturday to walk on Sunday, and there was a lot of bar/ nightclub noise which went on until the early hours of the morning - our room was on the front of the hotel (with an amazing view..!) so not sure if being at the back would have been a better option noise-wise, or if other nights are quieter.

Be mindful that this hotel is tailored to people for hiking outside mostly. Amenities in room is extremely frugal and limited. This is fine for us given we’re here to hike trolltunga, but no hair drier and shampoo does bother us as those are essential after the hike. Another bad thing here is it is quite noisy. We could hear lots of noises on the street on Sat night till probably 1am or later. We can’t get into sleep before that and it is definitely a no-no for people planning for early hike next day.
