Tree hotel was very close to the train station and very close to the ferry’s. The hotel from the outside was not that nice but overall inside was pretty spacious and clean . The TV didn’t work and the blow dryer was not good at all. Did not like the door locks . Overall though I have to say it was good.

For €329 a night, you get a very basic room. It’s not a hotel. It’s more of an apt. There’s no reception nor concierge downstairs so if you have a question or need something, you will have to walk to a different hotel(before 8pm). The room we had did not have bedside tables, a full size mirror, mini fridge nor a safe. We had just a bed, a very small tv, a small mirror and a basic wardrobe. The location and the view is the only good thing about this place.

The hotel location is very convenient. From Varenna train station, it’s about 1 block. Across the street from the Ferry Terminal and the city center is about 5 minute walk from the Ferry terminal. The hotel is not fancy but very comfortable and super clean. The included breakfast was very good. The breakfast and checkin was at the sister hotel about 5 minute walk. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Our room even had a partial lake view.

Perfect location - close to train station and ferry dock. Balcony looks into main intersection when you arrive in Varenna. Construction is finished on the main level. Maybe a safe and fridge may be good additions.

This was definitely a hidden gem! Truly the perfect location, super close to the ferry and train station. We booked last minute and were skeptical but enjoyed our stay so much we extended it by another night! There's a great store/deli right under the hotel that had great sandwiches! This hotel was very clean and comfortable and conveniently located just 5-8 minutes (walking) from the train station. Also located just 5 minutes from the shoreline and ferry terminal, making it easy to explore the area! The staff was friendly and helpful! Breakfast was very satisfying. Varenna is lovely, with many restaurants along the water.
