We enjoyed the comforts of any modern hotel at this roadside gem. Highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling on Highway 17. Thanks for the great stay and can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful setting, nice and clean. Only gave the staff a 3 because I never met them and only talked on the phone but they seem nice enough.

The room was completely remodeled and everything was brand new. Neat old motel with a fresh face. Attached restaurant was a big plus. I would highly recommend this property.

Very nice property, motel and restaurant. Motel room was spotless, had tasteful decor, equipped with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Comfortable beds.
Excellent meal at restaurant - reasonable prices on menu for both drinks and food.

Short stay but was very nice. Driveway entrance was not lit up much so difficult to see in the dark!

Beautifully finished rooms with amazing natural lighting and views of the enormous rocky, tree covered hills out of the large front window. Restaurant on-site and a small beach just 100 yards away. 5 stars on everything. An amazing place to stay and just might be one of our favorites ever.

Loved it so much on the way north from Ottawa to Thunder Bay that I stayed there again on the way home! Facility is lovely, rooms clean and comfortable, owners and staff and Duke the dog very friendly and helpful. Bachawana beach nearby as well as a trail and waterfall at Robertson cliff were spectacular. I was there in the fall with my two dogs. Would definitely visit again! Thank-you!

Arriving late and all we had to do was walk into our clean and comfortable room after 13 hours of travelling.

Well-appointed, clean rooms with cute decor. Only disadvantage is access to food if you happen to be staying on a night when the restaurant is closed. Otherwise this is a great place to stay with pets while you're on the road!

The owners are a very lovely couple. We didn't get in until 7:40, restaurant closed at 8:00 and they let us eat and have a couple of drinks well past closing time.
Rooms are clean decorated simple but quit quant and cute.
The grounds are well maintained and it is a one minute walk to Lake Superior.
Very friendly staff and owners, would stay again if.ever travelling through.
Thanks for a great stay, Kent and Feline

Such a cute place but had to be careful in the shower - no temperature control when others are using the water.

A very nice clean property. There is nowhere to get any food for breakfast without driving 20 minutes.
The internet is poor. There were too many on it so it was buffering.

The problem was the overpowering “freshener” scent in the room from the linens and air freshener. It made it uncomfortable.

It is a cozy motel, rooms very nicely renovated. Bed was a king and so comfortable and I wanted to take the pillows home with me they were so awesome. It is a family run motel , such a charming couple and their son. Extremely welcoming and helpful. The restaurant and bar will be open next week, we will be back, can’t wait!! Highly recommend!!
