Great value for the money provided you enjoy a quiet beach and don’t mind driving 10 minutes to town centre. Good restaurants and a supermarket are about 5 minutes walking distance. Right on a beautiful sandy beach. Great for sunbathing, and swimming. Friendly and welcoming staff.

We had a beautiful stay at this family-run hotel. It truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to the incredibly kind and supportive owner and team. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the hotel's convenient location made it easy to explore nearby attractions, even on a short trip. This is definitely a place we'll be returning to!

The hotel seemed to be run by just one person and although very polite and friendly he was very slow. Check in took over 1/2 an hour. If you wanted a drink from the bar and he was checking someone in yhen you could have to wait that long to be served.

Nice hotel with great location at the beach near Heraklion. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was peaceful and had a shallow part which was nice with toddler. There is a large supermarket and few good restaurants close to hotel. We had great experience of the visit.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. From the very first day ,the reception by Iranius was exceptional, warm ,friendly and honest. Through our stay he and all the staff were very kind . If we had the luck to come back to Heraklion we definitely would stay at this enchanting place . No luxurious but everything worked just fine.

What a wonderful hotel this is! We extended our stay as we were so relaxed and comfortable. The owner is very kind and wants people to be happy. The location is excellent - a short stroll to a wonderful beach for a quick swim before breakfast, and convenient to walk to a range of excellent restaurants. Tremendous views from simple 3* rooms, and a gorgeous terrace and swimming pool. Thank you Ioannis and team for a wonderful vacation. We will definitely be returning :)

A perfect stay on Crete

My son and daughter and I had an amazing stay here. The hotel might be old but it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were looked after brilliantly and treated like family rather than guests. We could easily walk to a range of really good bars and restaurants and there is a massive supermarket five minutes walk away. Loved it.

The property is right on the beach. You will have to take the beach chair provided by the owner back and forth to it. The beach is swimable and the sand is great. There is a market 5 minutes away ( walk) to shop your essentials and there is a fridge in your room. The rooms are cleaned daily and the sheets and towels changed daily. Rooms are imaculate and Miranda cleans them very well. Ianis, the owner is very helpful and answers any questions you might have. There is no tv in the room but there is Ac and safe. Very friendly staff, and great relaxing rusting stay!You can also take the bus for 20 euros for 2 days and see Heraklion. One of the things that is a must se is the Venetian legion/ castle. The whole island is full of beautiful beaches so if you rent a car adventure yourself and go se it!

This hotel is a hidden gem! It is family owned and operated since 1984 and they make sure that you enjoy your stay. The hotel is very clean and super adorable! The breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The views are amazing, we especially loved watching the sunset every night. It’s right on a sandy beach with a number of restaurants and lounge chairs available, or the pool on the property is also wonderful, if you prefer that. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood (easily walkable) and found a number of good restaurants and cafes along the way. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Crete!

Hotel Tsagarakis Beach is a very lovely hotel with character and heart. I stayed with my 6year old daughter for 9 days and we felt very much welcome. Mr. Tsagarakis, his Mother as well as the whole team are so lovely and kind, we didnt miss a thing. In general the whole atmosphere was friendly, also between the guests. My daughter in special felt very happy and free and we miss it already. Thank you a lot for this special vacation!

The one week spent at this hotel was relaxing, fun and exciting. Mr. Tsagarakis was warmly welcoming the very beginning. He gave all the info during the check in which made things easier. The hotel is a tradition rich family business and the Mr.Tsagarakis and his mothe made us feel like home at the hotel. The amazing pool, garden, sea view, the antique rich interiors with couches and the dining area is really peaceful and creative to relax. Free WiFi, AC, pool use, free sun beds and as a complementary we were also given diving masks. The sea view room was so great with sea and mountain views. Rooms where cleaned everyday, breakfast was fresh and delicious. We had a smooth check-in and check out. Somethings to improve would be: The room was not sound proof, so if the roads are too busy, you would hear it(our room was on road side). The breakfast was same all days, maybe a bit of change would be nice.

It is a very unique property decorated with museum pieces handmade in Crete. Inside and outside. Very special addition is a sand beach we enjoyed so much. Vänliga människor som Jobbade där. Super fina mot vår Son. Hotellet är av äldre standard och ett trippelrum var litet. Allt var rent med sängkläder osv. Tycker dock att priset är Högt för standarden. Tillgång till strand precis nedanför ett plus. Tomater och feta på Frukost var bra samt yoghurtsås men annars inte någon kulinarisk upplevelse.
