A Good Weekend Hotel

The stay was good. We arrived late due to Los Angeles traffic and they were courteous enough to call us to make sure we were still coming, and not canceling our reservation. That was very thoughtful. King bed room was huge, we were surprised about that. Yes we would stay again.

Needs repair, no hot water.

This hotel hasn't been updated since the 70's it looks like. The shower was tiny like 2ft x 2ft and NO HOT WATER, so cold showers only. The closet was bigger than the shower. Parking was tight. So tight I couldn't get into my car at one point and (I'm disabled) had to crawl over the center from the passenger side. The bed had no soft left in it. It was just springs you get what you pay for at this motel.

Not bad for 3 star hotel. Walking distance to new huge grocery store and Chase field. Too many homeless in area.

Excellent location for Orpheum Theater. Fairly safe area in downtown Phoenix. Free parking but no breakfast or coffee.

Affordable hotel in downtown Phoenix. No problems during visit. Traffic was a bit loud outside.

It was alr, the girl in the from was very helpful though, she did what she could to try and make us comfy even though I wasn’t too happy with the room, wasn’t the cleanest so made my stay a bit uncomfy. I think probably best for more of a one night stay instead of 2-3 nights.

Good for the price

The room we were in was pretty noisy being right across from a concert venue on a main road but we just left the TV on overnight. The room was clean enough minus the toilet seat could have used a bit of help. We felt safe in the area - fire station across the street, sheriff’s dept nearby... Overall our 1 night stay was just fine.

Property is older for sure, and the area isn’t necessarily the “best”, but to be across the street from the Van Buren and walkable distance to most things in the downtown area, despite dirty walls and carpet, little to no complaints.
Nova, 1-night trip

It was last minute and it wasn’t to expensive at all so it was a place to sleep, doors has secure locks and appliances worked. Employee’s were quick to get me checked in.

Definitely will book again!

I booked this room as it was right across the street from the concert venue I was going to that night. The staff was super friendly and the Lobby was clean! The vending machine was decently stocked (I’d have LOVED an energy drink option but that’s just a personal preference). The room was decent, it either was or definitely had been a smoking room in the past as it had a little lingering smell but it wasn’t bothersome at all. The rooms are a little outdated but the bed was big and the pillows were comfy! I’ll absolutely book here every time I go to a show at The Van Buren, which is often!!

The location is within walking distance of many ideal dining options as well as the state Capitol. However, the poor quality of the establishment and the noisy surroundings doesn’t merit the rate they charge.
Rick, 3-night trip

The workers were really sweet, the hotel is of course a pretty bare bones hotel which was what we wanted. We just needed a place to drop our bags and rest our heads between convention events. The beds were comfy enough, but there were no actual duvets in the duvet covers. I get it's Arizona, but i think a lighter duvet or a summer quilt would've been nice. It pretty much just felt like a regular bed sheet.. small thing but something i always look for is that there's no full length mirror. Given the price these are things of note, rather than complaints. We got free parking but there was no request for our car info and we took the last spot (which i don't think was an actual spot) so idk what we would've done if we didn't have a space. I do think they should monitor the lot better

Very dirty! The environment felt iffy n sketchy. But I would say the girl up at the front desk is very nice and helpful
