Morning buffet needs work

The rooms were really small for a family of 4 but we made it work. We had to have a baby crib in the room for our youngest which made it a bit tighter. One of the biggest issues was the breakfast. There was no one by the door telling people where to sit, so people were just walking around looking for tables which made it a lot more hectic. Both mornings we had to ask for the table to be cleaned because the employees were focused on other tasks. The second morning we were there (Saturday) was pandemonium. There were actually people standing and eating on the tables where the buffet food is placed instead of waiting for a table. I found this quite disgusting/unsanitary, but the staff didn’t ask them to move.

Distance for going to Dyreparken is perfect. We found a half eaten bag of sweets in our bed, makes you wonder if they even changed the sheets before our stay. Property is due for renovations. We got only 1 towel for 3 guests. There could have been more options at the breakfast buffet.

Bra opphold, veldig barnevennlig og koselig personale. Lurt å legge barnefamilier i første etasje, men det blir litt mye støy utenfor vinduene nattetid med folk som prater høyt. Det forstyrret nattesøvnen for oss voksne og vi trenger søvn når barna endelig sover :)

Hent greit hotell å bo på. Ligger tvers ovenfor Dyreparken, noe som igjen gjør at det er mange barnefamilier på hotellet. Godt lydisolert. Basseng ute bak hotellet. Froskosten er bra. Mye forskjellig å velge mellom for store og små. Middagen vi fikk var buffet (2 ganger). Helt grei, men savnet noe kjøtt. Kyllingen var god den, men kunne gjerne vært en gryte eller stek av noe slag. Til prisen så burde det vært det. 400 kr pr voksen person. Desserten var ikke så mye å skryte av. Igjen så hadde jeg forventet mer å velge mellom til prisen. Rommet var greit. Fint med dør som kunne åpnes for å lufte. Ryddig og rent. Kort vei til dyreparken, Sørlandssenteret og sentrum. Det var stappefull parkering og ikke plass til alle gjester. Vi måtte parkere på en gammel veistump.

Gulvet på rommet var ikke skikkelig rengjort og det var flekker på håndklær. Vi måtte tappe i flere minutter for å få varmt vann og det var ikke alltid det ble skikkelig varmt. Hotellet er veldig lytt og det var ingen ventilasjon på rommet så vinduer måtte stå åpne hele tiden.
