The staff were especially attentive, accommodating and friendly. I'm not sure I have stayed anywhere else in my travels with a better staff. Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly. The breakfast hostess was so kind and efficient. Great stay.

The pictures on the website are a bit misleading, not quiet and accurate representation of the property. Breakfast was great and the staff was excellent. We did find a roach in our bathroom but the staff took care of it quickly. There is a wing restaurant and bar next door, food there is excellent was well as the staff. I would certainly stay here again.

Property currently under construction. Reserved our stay over a month ago only to be notified a couple hours prior to check in. They offered a no charge cancelation option for this though. When we got to the hotel at 530 our room still wasn’t available, they were having issues with the card readers for the rooms. The fire alarm system went off at 6am waking us up to rush downstairs just to find out they burnt the bacon, after finally falling back asleep the alarm system went off again at 8am for the same reason. Was not impressed with our stay at all.

Our stay was…interesting. As the saying goes, you definitely get what you pay for. The staff was very helpful, but that is probably the most positive thing I can say about our stay here. The hotel was incredibly frugal when it came to the most basic of amenities- like toilet paper and coffee pods in the room. And I had to ask the housekeeping staff to please clean our room one of the days we were here. The staff actually told me that I would get 500 points on my member rewards account for each day we did NOT have our room cleaned. I think that is appalling. I know people are trying to be “green,” but cleanliness is important to me, and I think it’s important to most people. The breakfast choices were terrible as well. One day they had bacon as an option, and it was amazing, but then they never offered it again (our stay was three nights). I don’t think we will be staying at this hotel again.

We have never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express. It is very basic and room though we had a King Suite was basic and felt industrial with gray/blue paint. Toilet in bathroom was too low for us. Bed was too high for me to get in and out of. Cleaning staff missed our room on day Saturday of our stay. A woman in charge quickly got us clean towels. I brought our 2 waste baskets to staff to empty. Shower needs to be regrouted and cleaned better. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful especially Jackie and Karin. Karin also prepares the breakfast and is a great asset to this property. On Saturday night, a woman around 4am possibly intoxicated was talking loud and disruptive and couldn't sleep. People above our room walked heavy a lot during the night. Traffic in front where we stayed could be heard from the highway. It was a most unpleasant stay for us except for the front desk team.

Had several issues with this hotel. Apparently, it just went through renovations and the phone jack in our room got covered up. Could not contact the front desk because the phone couldn't be connected to the wall. They have Direct TV as their provider, it didn't work in our room. The assistant manager was excellent in helping and trying to get us taken care of. We were moved to a different room which had a working phone and TV, but then the next morning the hot water had to be turned off due to a leak. We could not shower so had to leave and make our trip short because we had no other option but head back home. Again, the assistant manager, Jackie, was great to work with, she honestly deserves to be recognized! She recommended we contact Expedia and make them aware she's going to refund us one night. Maybe this will be a better hotel once all the renovation mistakes get fixed!

Close to downtown historical Grandbury, TX...restaurants and stores near by. The only issues in the room that we stayed in was...the extra door latch was broken, and the office chair was not working properly. Just wished we asked for a room that wasn't under or close to a family with children.
