We had a great stay here for a short trip. We were able to check in earlier after an early morning flight and the hotel was fantastic. Comfortable clean rooms, very helpful staff and perfect central location, everything we wanted was walkable distance. We are planning to return to Porto and this hotel

New hotel but historical building with lots of charm. It is situated at a very convenient location, can go to most of the attractions by foot. The room I had was very spacious but it was very hot. The front desk lady refused to do anything for us and we had to drag till 11pm before we could change to another room. Other than her, the other front desk staff are friendly and helpful. To me , the housekeeping could do a better job. Water was not replenished and tissue paper was out. Wish she could be more attentive. One more thing I want to mention is that the shower floor is very slippery, be cautious. Maybe hotel can do something about it before any accident happens.

Beautiful hotel located next to the city hall in Porto. I knew immediately as we were greeted by the front desk staff that this was the place for us. Easy access to public transport and Porto sights. Plenty of restaurants to choose within short walking distance. We were treated extremely well by every member of the staff we encountered. Excellent job Axis folks!!!
