10/10 Excellent

Very nice property great value and service lovely friendly staff and the kitchen went out of their way to accommodate my eating needs
Paul, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

Staff friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Nice surroundings.
Leslie, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

we only stayed one night and that’s not enough to make any recommendations.
Robert, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

It's old and has a general old and musty feeling.
Nicole, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

Nice traditional seaside hotel with original features No walk-in shower and although hotel was contacted about access to room we found the advice that that our room was accessed by a short easy flight of stairs There were over 20 stairs with a fire door directly at the top and inadequate handrails This proved challenging and spoilt our stay
Carol, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great room. Convenient walking to city center. Food in hotel restaurant is really good with great breakfast.
Scott, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Lovely, historic boutique hotel in Ayr. Small, but nicely appointed room, convenient location. Near the beach, close to transportation, etc. Walked to a beautiful golf course, Belleisle, and played there on a spectacular sunny day. Enjoyed 2 breakfasts and dinners in their restaurant. Very pleased with our choice of accommodations.
Michael, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The staff was amazing. The food was delicious. There is no elevator and the rooms could use a bit of modernization. I would stay here again.
Melissa, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

A two hundred year old building obviously has it's challenges. Room decorated in boot sale furniture, shower did not work, up two steep winding staircases (seniors would be challenged to haul their luggage up these stairs) Avoid this property
Michael, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Room was pretty small and in need of an upgrade. Shower cubicle was ridiculously small, couldn’t bend down in it to wash my feet. Sink was tiny and in an awkward corner, impractical to be able to wash your face etc properly. Hotel was in quiet surroundings but spoiled by creeky floors, banging doors and thin walls. Breakfast was pretty minimal. Not much selection. I ordered French toast and it was pretty terrible. Other options included a few cereals and toast. No fruit, pastries etc. All in all I found it pretty overpriced for what it was.
