A great hotel close to the motor with gym, and pool included. Friendly helpful staff made check in and check out simple and welcoming. I was looking forward to taking my grandson to Alton Towers and decided to book the Holiday inn for two nights as it had a swimming pool. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. The swimming pool was ok but looking a bit shabby. The room was ok but in need of modernisation. Lacking a fridge. An ok stay but would not stay again.

The hotel looked tired but it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice for all tastes. The pool and jacuzzi were an added bonus.

We had an amazing stay, the bathroom was on the small size but was all clean. Had a meal on Sunday and unfortunately after waiting nearly half an hour, my fish was uneatable as it was over cooked and dry. Refund was given but no one apologise .
