We stayed a week in a two bedroom condo at the Shores. Excellent location with beautiful beach view. The place had everything we needed including a big balcony facing the beach. Staff was very welcoming and assisted us with our needs.

Everyone was extremely courteous and welcoming. The Staff was went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Making themselves available around the clock and extremely accommodating. The only thing I wasn’t pleased with was the all-inclusive breakfast which consisted of the same meal. Everyday. No substitutes. Also the website advertised a grass tennis court, which it was not.

We stayed for 5 nights in Ridge and on our 3rd night the ring that was in the room was gone. It was a designer ring that costed few thousand dollars Managers came and said they will investigate and follow up with us but never heard from them again even after calling and leaving messages asking about the follow up. We filed for a police report and even the police said they had incidents like this before at Blue Bay and management will not help nor do they care about it. To make things worse, we found a mouse inside our property roaming around. When I told the front desk that there were mouse in our room their response was ‘oh’ It seemed like they knew about the problem but didn’t seem to care to fix the problem. Very disappointed in their customer service and overall service.

First of all the property is beautiful, the stay was great until, we went for breakfast the food was horrible. second the moment we step in the we step in Blue bay Jasmine. The house keeper was slowly going into my locker and steal small amount of money. And here we think we were spending too much. What make it worse, is when the lost day they have stolen over $350 US dollars in cash and took pictures of one of my daughter credit cards and ran up over $300 charging on it. When we reported the matter to security and general manager. They act as if they don’t understand a word I was telling them. I also reported the matter to police and there respond was there have been over 20 report of the matter house keeper or stealing and the manger or general manager are not doing not to resolve the issues. You travel In another country just to relax and have fun, I hide my purse in my closet and the house keeper went and searched and took something that doesn’t belong to them. And the company did not care. I would not advice no one to go there or if you do carry your personal belongings on you all the time. Because there are a lot of stealing going on in the Blue Bay Resort.

The Blue Bay apartment was more or less ok to stay for a week, but due to several very uncomfortable features, I can’t imagine staying here for a longer period of time: -The windows in the apartment are all looking at a very busy road used by huge construction vehicles from 6:40am until late evening. It would be ok if there were actual glass windows on them, but there are only wooden shades and NO glass on doors and windows facing this road. To avoid mosquitos coming into the bedroom, these were kept closed down for a week, which made it so awfully dark and unpleasant in the room. -There are not enough lights in the bedroom and one of the bedside lights is broken off - The air conditioning is only present in bedrooms and not in the large kitchen/living room area. It gets extremely hot in this area and no fans were provided. Doors to the balcony need to stay closed during rainy mosquitoes season - Only 4 free pods of coffee were provided for the 4 people staying for 7 days. Not a single supermarket on the island sells these special size Lavazza pods, only reception sells them at $1/each -The beach is 20min walk away, but there are absolutely no walkways available for pedestrians and cars and construction vehicles drive 10-20 miles above speed limit on these roads -If we do come back to Blue Bay again, staying at the beach buildings, or close to the beach, is necessary, unless those are cost prohibitive

The resort was extremely safe, nice staff, and the grounds were well kept. Unfortunately, it was closer to camping than a beach resort. There is no air conditioning except for the 2 bedrooms, which have no TV. The kitchen and living room are sweltering hot all day and night. There are also no screens so if you open the wood slats, bugs can come in. We were warned by hotel staff to be careful opening wood blinds because mosquitoes carry dengue fever. Yikes! Every outside noise is heard inside. Loud neighbors woke us up nightly! During our 8 night, 9 day stay, housekeeping only came one time. You are reusing towels for days. They have no washcloths at the property. The flush on our toilet broke. I was told maintenance would fix. Nobody came that day. When we asked about it again, we were asked to use the 2nd toliet for the remainder of our stay because they needed to take the entire wall piece off to fix the flusher. The four of us ended up having to use one toilet for the last 2 days, even though we purposely paid for a 2 bathroom unit. On the 2nd day, our dishwasher started stinking up our entire unit. It smelled as though rotting fish was in it, even though no dishes or anything were in it. We dealt with the horrible smell and 3 days of maintenance coming in and out until they finally found something causing it 3 days later. Beach and restaurants are not walkable distance. Consider somewhere that’s better maintained…

Leiligheten var veldig fin. Moderne og praktisk. Sengene var veldig harde, ellers ikke noe å si på leiligheten. Men avstanden til stranden var veldig lang, så vi måtte leie bil for å kjøre dit. Maten i restauranten på stranden var av dårlig kvalitet. Flott strand, og veldig positivt med lekeplass til ungene. Største trekket for vår del var at det står at det er et treningssenter i nærheten man kan bruke - det stemmer IKKE. Nærmeste gym er 15 min unna. Det tilbys noen Yoga timer, men det er privat drevet og koster ekstra. Det trekker også ned at man må betale ekstra for strøm.

My family and I stayed at the Blue Bay Beach and Golf Resort specifically The Ridge for 7 nights. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The view and the infinity pool was perfect. We opted into the breakfast package, which was tasty and very convenient to get the day started with. We did rent a car vehicle, which I highly recommend if you plan on exploring the island and free parking was available. Depending how many nights you stay you are allocated a certain amount of units for electric and water. If you go over then you will have to pay. We went over but the cost was $23.50. We did forget to turn the AC off when we left out for the day a couple of times. We beach hopped a lot but if you plan to just stay on the Resort, Blue Bay Beach was beautiful and calm. The beach itself is fairly small but during our stay it wasn’t super crowded. Overall I rate the property 9/10 and would stay again.
