Perfectly Quaint & Cozy

This was the perfect place for us to call home while we explored the area. The owners are wonderful and shared lots of helpful information. Our clean, cozy room had the most comfortable bed and lovely-smelling linens! We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Keystone!

Nice quaint hotel, staff was super helpful.

6/10 Good

Confusing parking, not easy to re-lock door. Nasty seasonal large bugs. Dead bugs in room. Expensive for what we got but popular area. But it was quiet and conveniently located.

The most convenient and peaceful motel in the Keystone area.

This is a family owned lodge and they are warm, friendly, and helpful. They invite the guests in the morning for pastries and a light breakfast. The room was clean but a little rustic. The bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

2/10 Poor

ADA noncompliant

Unfortunately, this property is not ADA accessible or compliant. My sister uses a mobility scooter, we were unable to stay since our assigned room on the second floor was only accessible via stairs.
LaSheba, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The lodge was great. The only negative comment would be the paper thin walls, I could hear everything. Also the hotel is not ADA complacent.

Proprietors are very Personal as are the Guest I ment while there... Guess the bottom line is when I return next year on business (Deadwood) and take few extra days, I'll be rebooking with them again.. That should say it all!!

Clean bed and hot shower. Coffee and a wonderful cinnamon roll in the morning. If you are looking for a high price chain motel this is not it. This is locally owned by someone who knows the history or Keystone and their property. She took the time to educate us on some amazing history and gave us tips for our bike ride to Yellowstone. Will stay here again for sure. Call them direct instead of using an online app. Makes things easier.

Ehhh

Air conditioner wasn’t working. Finally called after realizing it was not going to cool down and they sent someone out immediately. Very very simple accommodations. When they say no frill they really mean no frill.

Smells funny

4/10 Fair

The room smelled moldy and musty, so disgusting it made our eyes burn. It was like a mix of urine and mildew. We had to open the window for the evening (and the front door as much as possible) which was not safe since we were on ground level. It was also loud from the busy street and no ice machine. We left as soon as we woke up the next morning. I called and spoke with the owner to inform her and she was very dismissive and said “I was just there and didn’t smell anything.” Way to lack accountability! It’s a shame because the location is great. Please clean and update your hotel properly! Guest should not have to pay a premium rate and have to suffer like that. And if a guest is kind enough to call you first to inform you, be kind!

They reached out to us to make sure we had all our info for our very late self check in. The place was nice clean and SO quiet. We were in heaven, and sad we had to head out so early then next morning. We will for sure stay here when we come back! Thank you!

A true gem in Keystone!

This was hands down the best hotel we’ve ever been to. Service and attention to detail was outstanding. Location was perfect and the charm was unbeatable. We hope to be back someday. Could not recommend more if you’re heading to the Keystone area.

An amazing little town with such an adorable lodge at the heart of it. The owner was so sweet and kind. This was our favorite stay throughout our 8 day cross country trip from VA to WA.
